[Detailed description of the invention] This invention is an ink that has thixotropy (thixotropy), that is, it can be made into a sol state by applying mechanical stimulation, and it can be made into a gel state by leaving it in a stationary state without mechanical stimulation. The present invention relates to a writing instrument that allows writing using ink that has the property of reversibly converting between the two.

Conventionally, such ink is converted into a gel state by being allowed to stand still, so it has been conventionally used to contain a coloring pigment with a large specific gravity such as titanium oxide, Bengara, gold powder, or silver powder as a coloring agent. It has the characteristic that it does not have the disadvantages of color pigments separating, such as those found in ordinary inks.

Numeral 7 denotes a sealing agent such as silicone grease sealed in the rear end of the ink cylinder 2. The rear end of the ink cylinder 2 may be sealed or closed without using a sealing agent, but the sealing agent 7 has the advantage of preventing the ink 6 from leaking out and drying, and also of preventing the inside of the ink cylinder 2 from becoming decompressed as the ink 6 moves toward the front end as the ink 6 is consumed, allowing the ink to flow out more smoothly.

Reference numeral 8 denotes a weight body made of lead, tin, etc., to which a linear body 9 protruding toward the distal end is attached by means such as implantation.
10 is a striation body. The tip of the spring body 10 is installed in the main body B by means such as press-fitting into the large-diameter hole 31 of the relay pipe 3, and the rear end is externally fitted and fixed to the tip of the weight body 8.

The weight body 8 is always resiliently supported rearward by the spring body 10, and is slidable within the body B by a distance that allows the spring 10 to be compressed and expanded. The linear body 9 is a single filament made of a metal wire such as stainless steel, or a filament made of synthetic resin such as polyamide resin or fluorocarbon resin, or a plurality of filaments formed into a strand shape, and its outer diameter is 0.2 to 0.5 m/m. It has been formed for some time. In addition, its length is 0.1 to 0.1 mm from the tip of the pen nib 5 in its natural state, that is, when the spring body 10 is not compressed.
It is formed to have a slightly protruding length of about 0.3 m/m.

Incidentally, the tip of the linear body 9 does not necessarily need to protrude beyond the tip of the pen tip portion 5 when the spring body 10 is in its natural state; when the spring body 10 is compressed, the linear body 9 and the weight body 8 reach the tip. When sliding to the side, the pen tip 5 protrudes from the tip of the pen tip 5, or even if it does not protrude, the pen tip 5
It is sufficient if the length is such that it faces the tip of the tube.

Therefore, in use, when the writing instrument A is lightly shaken while gripping the barrel 1 or lightly collides with a desk or the like, the spring body 10 expands and contracts due to the inertia of the weight body 8,
The linear body 9 slides a certain distance inside the main body B, and the ink 6
is subjected to mechanical vibration.

As a result, the ink 6 is converted from a gel state to a sol state and is in a state where it can flow out from the tip of the pen nib portion 5, making it possible to write.

At this time, since the tip of the linear body 9 slightly protrudes from the pen tip 5, the linear body 9, the weight body 8, and the spring 10 vibrate slightly due to the writing pressure, and the sol state continues, causing ink to leak. You can write smoothly without any hassle. Further, even if the pen tip 5 becomes clogged with paper fiber waste during writing, it is pushed out by the linear body 9 by simply shaking the writing instrument A, so there is no risk of clogging. When you have finished writing, cap it if necessary, and if you leave it standing still, the ink 6 will convert to a gel state, so even if you do not use it for a long time, the ink 6 will not separate and there is no risk of it leaking. .

Since the present invention is constructed as described above, even if ink containing pigments is used as a coloring agent, it can be written smoothly without separation, clogging, or leakage, and it is also possible to write fine print, making it possible to write normally. It can also be used as a writing instrument for correcting writing or typing. Moreover, the structure is simple and it can be used by simply shaking the writing instrument, making it convenient.
