商品名セメダインCS3061)を充填ガン5により

本考案は、シール材として高吸水性合成樹脂を
含有する水膨張性ゴムを用いることにより、充填
ガンの盲作業をなくし、信頼性を向上させ、シー
ル材の性質からくる管理上の変動要因を減少さ
せ、またシール材のはみだしを防止して外観品質
の向上をはかり、さらにゴムの弾性を利用するこ
とによりシール圧を上げ、防水性能を向上させる

第4図、第5図に示したウインドウシールは、
ボデイ1とウエザーストリツプ3、ウインドウガ
ラス2ととウエザーストリツプ3との間のシール
材充填用の空隙部に、高吸水性合成樹脂を含有す
る水膨張性ゴム6を介挿した構造となつている。
この水膨張性ゴム6は天然ゴムまたは合成ゴム
に、特開昭49−97897号公報あるいは特開昭53−
106798号公報等に開示される公知のウレタン素材
を配合したもので、親水性を有している。次に第
6図aおよびbに基いて本考案の作用について説
明する。第6図aのように、ボデイ1とウエザー
ストリツプ3、ウインドウガラス2とウエザース
トリツプ3との間のシール材充填用の空隙部に水
が浸入すると、該空隙部に介挿された高吸水性合
成樹脂を含有する水膨張性ゴム6に水が触れ、該
水膨張性ゴム6が第6図bに示すように体積膨張
する。それにより該空隙部が充填され、膨張圧に
よりボデイ面(ボデイ,ウエザーストリツプ
間)、ガラス面(ウインドウガラス,ウエザース
トリツプ間)のシール圧が上がり、水の浸入が防
止されるのである。なお、前記水膨張性ゴム6の
断面形状については板状、円状、三角状あるいは
円筒状のものなど各種の形状が可能であり、用途

能の向上をはかることができる効果を有するもの
