By controlling the voltage applied to the pair of electrodes, the recording density on the recording paper was kept almost uniform. Therefore, in the conventional recording pen, v x and v y are combined to produce a composite signal v r
The disadvantage is that it requires a synthesis circuit to generate , which makes the circuit complex.

In these figures, reference numeral 2 denotes a substrate member of the recording pen, which is a heat dissipation layer made of an electrically insulating material such as AI 2 O 3 . 3 is a heating element, 4 is a protective film, and 5 is a glaze. The heating element 3 is formed at the tip of the substrate member 2, and in the example shown in the figure, a resistor layer is formed on the hemispherical surface, and is covered with a protective film 4. The portion of the recording paper that comes into contact with the protective film 4 is heated. The protective film 4 prevents wear of the heating element 3, and the glaze 5 prevents direct contact between the heating element 3 and the substrate member 2. The structures of the substrate member 2, heating element 3, protective film 4, glaze 5, etc. described above are the same as those of the conventional recording pen, so detailed explanation thereof will be omitted. Further, the structure of the above-mentioned portion does not necessarily have to be the structure shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, but may be any structure as long as it can provide two pairs of electrodes in the manner described below.

As shown in FIG. 1, it is led out through both side surfaces of the substrate member 2 and connected to the same reference potential (ground potential in this case). FIG. 2 shows an annular cross section of the heating element 3. In this embodiment, the planar projection of the heating element 3 is circular, and the electrodes 11, 12 and the heating element 3 are connected to the center point of the circle. The connecting portions of the two are provided at mutually centrally symmetrical positions. Reference numeral 13 denotes a first electrode, which connects the electrodes 11, 1 from the center point on a straight line that is perpendicular to the straight line connecting the connecting portions of the electrodes 11, 12 and the heating element 3 and that crosses the center point of the heating element 3.
It is connected to the heating element 3 at the same distance as the connecting portion between the substrate member 2 and the heating element 3, is led out through the side surface of the substrate member 2, and is connected to the first variable potential. 14 is a second electrode, which is connected to the first electrode 13 with respect to the center point of the heating element 3.
It is connected to the heating element 3 at a position centrally symmetrical to the connecting part between the substrate member 2 and the heating element, and is led out through the side surface of the substrate member 2 and connected to the second variable potential.

省略する。 The voltage between the first variable potential and the ground potential is v x
Since the voltage between the second variable potential and the ground potential is controlled by v y , the X-direction component force v x and the Y-direction component force v y of the relative velocity between the recording pen and the recording paper Therefore, the heating power of each recording pen is controlled, and a substantially uniform recording density can be obtained regardless of the values of v x and v y . Now, in the structure of the recording pen shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, depending on the voltage applied between the first electrode 13 and the reference potential electrodes 11 and 12, It is desirable that the same amount of heat is applied to the recording paper at the contact portion between the recording paper and the recording pen if the voltages applied between the recording paper and the recording pen are the same. For this reason, each electrode 11, 12, 13,
14 and the heating element 3 are required to have a structure in which they are arranged at 90 degree intervals on the same circumference centered on the center point of the heating element (see Figure 2). . However, this condition is not very strict,
If these conditions are almost satisfied, the amount of heat given to the recording paper at the contact area between the recording paper and the recording pen will be equal to the heat generated by the voltage applied between the first electrode 13 and the reference electrodes 11 and 12, and the heat generated by the second electrode. It is easy to understand that this can be obtained as an effective combination of the heat generated by the voltage applied between the electrode 14 and the reference electrodes 11 and 12. In this specification, the range indicated by words such as within the vicinity of the position or within the range in an almost perpendicular direction is within the range in which the amount of heat given to the recording paper can be effectively synthesized as described above. For example, "within a direction approximately perpendicular to" the shape of the heating element shown in the figure.
It is in the range of 80-100. Furthermore, when this recording pen is used as a recording pen for a thermal recording device, it is easy to control the first variable potential as a function of v x and the second variable potential as a function of v y . However, since this control method is not directly related to this invention, its explanation will be omitted.
