When there is a scene you want to play, press FF (fast forward) or
The needle must be moved to that position using FR (fast return) operation. For example, if you move the needle by eye, then lower it and play the scene, if it is not the desired scene, you have no choice but to raise and lower the needle many times and repeat FF or FR until the desired position is reached. This is of course the same even if the contents recorded on the disk are associated with a track address in advance, and it is not possible to cue up quickly.

The first bit is a start word and is of a particularly high level, that is, "1", and the second to fourth bits are an angle word. The 5th to 18th bits are address words and indicate the track address, and the 19th to 23rd bits are error bit check words and are used to check bit errors. Here, the bit width of 1 bit is approximately 2 μs, and 23 bits is approximately 46 μs, so the horizontal period (63.5 μs)
This will account for approximately 70% of the total.

Note that such a video signal reproducing circuit is already well known and will not be described in detail here. And video signal reproducing circuit 3
A composite synchronization signal is introduced into the 20H sampling pulse generation circuit 7, and when 20H is detected, a gate flag signal C is obtained. This 20H sampling pulse generation circuit 4
The circuit consists of a vertical and horizontal synchronizing pulse separation circuit, a horizontal pulse counter, and a monostable multi-channel circuit, and will not be described in detail since it can be easily obtained with the current state of the art. A 20H gate 5 gates the composite video signal A with a gate flag signal C, and outputs a sampling signal D.

and is introduced into the clock pulse generation circuit 5'.
That is, the monostable multi-channel 6 of the clock pulse generating circuit 5' is triggered by the rising edge of the sampling signal D, and outputs a pulse E having a width sufficiently longer than that of the bit signal. The monostable multivibrator 6 has a reset terminal, and is reset when the bit signal of the sampling signal D disappears as a signal to the terminal. The clock signal generation circuit 8 is
It preferably uses X-tal oscillation such as RC, LC or Oscillation stops when the input disappears (becomes low level). here,
As mentioned above, since the width of one bit of the sampling signal D is 2 μs, the period of the clock pulse B is set to 2 μs.
The oscillation frequency is 500KHz. This clock signal generating circuit 8 receives the pulse E as a key-in input, and after the key-in input is supplied, there is a slight delay, for example, about 1 μs.
Oscillates with a delay. As a result, clock pulse B
lags behind sampling signal D.

That is, it rises at the rising edge of the last pulse of clock pulse B to obtain a signal G equal to the pulse width of that pulse. The monostable multivibrator 7 goes to a "low level" at the fall of the signal G and follows its own time constant, for example, it may be sufficiently long, so it may be about one horizontal period. Outputs a pulse H that continues at a low level. This pulse H is supplied as a reset signal to the monostable multivibrator 6.

If it is a number of bits, you can change the 23-decimal counter according to the number of bits, for example.
In the case of 18 bits, it is a hexadecimal counter.

It is also possible to use a signal related to the oscillation output by appropriately counting down the signal. The shift register group 10 is composed of 8-bit serial-in/parallel-out shift registers 11, 12, and 13 connected in series, and reads the sampling signal D at the rising edge of the clock pulse B and inputs the shift registers 11 to 13. Shift in the direction. In this manner, when the supply of the last pulse of clock pulse B is completed, all 23 bits of sampling signal D have been completely read into shift register group 10, and are held in that state. In addition, the shift register 13
Only the most significant bit is empty.

Reference numerals 1, 212, and 213 drive the head and raise and lower the needle (pickup). Reference numeral 210 is a reverse solenoid, and when this solenoid operates, the head moves backward (in the direction opposite to the center of the disk) and moves rapidly. Reference numeral 211 is a forward solenoid for fast forwarding (toward the center of the disk). Reference numeral 212 denotes a play solenoid, and when this operates, the head enters play operation. 2
Reference numeral 13 denotes a pick-up solenoid which, when operated, lowers the pick-up and brings it into contact with the groove of the disk.

(This SW is a built-in micro-SW that is ON when the head is above the disk.) is applied to the base of transistor 216, and transistor 216 is turned on. When this is turned on, the forward solenoid is activated, resulting in F, F operation (forward fast-forward operation). At the same time, capacitor 215
is charged through resistor 214 and plays SW206
It works to keep the transistor 206 on for a sufficiently long time even if it becomes OFF. Furthermore, the forward solenoid 211 moves the head in the forward direction in FF operation, turning on the reset SW 202 and keeping the transistor 216 on. Note that at this time, the limit SW 209 is on the OFF side. In this way, turning ON the play SW 206 only for a moment is sufficient.

Therefore, the transistors 216 and 217 are turned off, and the SCR 220 is triggered via the forward fast forward SW 204 on the OFF side through the capacitor 225, and the DC voltage DC is applied to the reverse solenoid 210,

Similarly, the reverse solenoid 210 operates when the SCR 220 is turned on. This is because the reset SW 202 is turned OFF only when the head moves backwards and returns to the standby position.
Since it is on the ON side, the reset SW 202 is ON.
Power is supplied to the motor 224 and transformer 223 through the side, and the DC voltage DC is reset.

S.ADR means the address actually read from the disk by pick-up, and such PADR and S.ADR have not yet been set or read in advance, and are cleared to 0. Note that when a track on the disk is selected (preset) using the keyboard 108 and the head reaches that track, a pick-up moves down onto the disk, picks up the address of that track (search track), and displays it on the display 11. The preset PADR is also displayed on the display 11, as will be described later, and the display 11 is divided into two sections: one for PADR and one for SADR. Therefore, when no button on the keyboard 108 is pressed at first, it is necessary to display 0.

A PAUSE signal is output to PC 5 of PC 4 (step 16), and the next PAUSE operation begins.

Not equal to PADR. This is because even if the FF operation time is set correctly in step 7, errors may occur due to disk misalignment, disk track deviation, etc. It has been experimentally confirmed that such an error is within 50 tracks.

Accordingly, the CPU waits for one track jump time due to the FF operation, and then returns to step 20. In this way, the difference between PADR and SADR is detected to determine the distance to which the pick-up should proceed in FF operation.
For example, if the PADR is 1000 and the SADR is 990, the difference in distance is 10 tracks by repeating such a loop 10 times and proceeding with the pick-up by the corresponding time FF operation. In this way, if you proceed with the pick-up for 10 tracks,
If the result of the determination in step 20 is YES, the process proceeds to the next step 21, where the FF signal is stopped, the FF operation is stopped, and the process proceeds to the next step 29.

This FR signal is input to the FR input terminal 227 in FIG. 6, transistor 222 becomes conductive, and since land switch 229 is on the ON side, FR operation is started.

If it is ON, the SADR is decremented in step 26, and after waiting for the time to skip one track by FR operation, the loop returning to step 25 is repeated, and when the judgment result becomes YES, the next step 28 is executed. Therefore, the output of the FR signal is stopped, the FR operation is stopped, and the process moves to the next step 29.

たトラツク上にあると考えて良い。 Here, match PADR and SADR in step 25.
Or, if it is judged as 20, it is considered that the pick-up deviates from the matching track. Since the FR signal or FF signal is output in step 24 or 19 of the process, the pickup will continue to move until the decision is made in step 25 or 20. However, the time required for step 28 or 21 to output the FR signal or FF signal, execute the next determination step 25 or 20, and stop it is several μs.
Furthermore, even if the pickup movement signals, ie, FR signals and FF signals, are output, there are electrical and mechanical delays. When a match occurs for these reasons, it can be assumed that the pick-up is on the matching track.
