    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 棒状露光光源からの光の走査を利用し、原稿を透過する
    光によって原稿の画像形成範囲で目で確認することがで
    きるスリット露光型画像形成装置において、原稿支持板
    の温度上昇を抑制する冷却手段と、同冷却手段の駆動を
    制御する冷却制御手段と、原稿の画像形成範囲を確認す
    るモードに設定する原稿確認モード設定手段とを備え、
    原稿確認モードに設定されたときは、冷却手段の駆動状
    態を強力にすることを特徴とする画像形成装置の冷却装
    置。
