A loop transmission system including a master station control station and a slave station has the disadvantage that the delay time becomes large because the master station (control station) corrects synchronization errors while the frame goes around the loop. As a method to solve this problem, there is a hairpin loop transmission method.

To explain this with reference to FIG. 2, the transmitting end and receiving end of a unidirectional transmission line 4 are connected to the master station 3, and the slave stations 1 and 2 are connected to this transmission line. The transmitting terminals 11 and 21 of each slave station are connected to the side T near the transmitting end of the transmission line, and the receiving terminals 12 and 2 of each slave station are connected to the side T near the transmitting end of the transmission line.
2 is connected to side R near the receiving end. Since the transmission of information from the slave station 2 to the slave station 1 and the transmission of information from the slave station 1 to the slave station 2 do not pass through the master station, no delay time due to synchronization shift correction occurs.
However, in the conventional hairpin loop method, an arbitrary vacant slot is captured on the transmission terminal side, information is written into the slot, and transmission is performed.
When applied to a system in which information is concentrated at a specific station, the higher station (slave station 1) with respect to the transmission direction has a higher probability of capturing an empty slot than the lower station (slave station 1). 2) is greater than the possibility of capturing a vacant slot, and the lower station (slave station 2) is at a disadvantage. Therefore, the waiting time at the subordinate station (slave station 2) increases. In this way, inequity occurs in free slot allocation.

In the present invention, the transmitting end and the receiving end of a unidirectional transmission line are connected to the master station, and the transmitting terminals of the plurality of slave stations are connected to the transmission line on the side closer to the transmitting end of the transmission line. In a hairpin loop type information transmission system, the receiving terminal of the slave station is connected to the side near the receiving end of the transmission line, and information from the slave station is transmitted by capturing an empty time slot of the transmission line. A reserved bit is provided on the slot, and writing of the reserved bit is performed from both the transmitting terminal and the receiving terminal of each slave station, and empty time slots that can be written are differentiated between the transmitting terminal side and the receiving terminal side. A time slot allocation method in a hairpin loop information transmission system is provided.

If an empty slot is found on the transmitting terminal side. At the same time as setting the first bit to 1, the transmitting station name, receiving station name, and information to be transmitted are written into the slot.

When an empty slot is found on the receiving terminal side.
The first bit is set to 1, and other slave stations or master stations are prohibited from using the slot. However, information cannot be written on the receiving terminal side. Therefore, the information to be transmitted along with the transmitting station name and receiving station name is written in the same slot one frame later, ie, #3 slot.

Operation 1 of slave station 2 As mentioned above, since the transmitting station name and receiving station name are written in the slot containing information,
Each slot is monitored on the receiving terminal side, and if the slot is addressed to the own station, information on that slot is received via communication paths 11-A 1 -A 2 -B 2 -22 shown by chain lines.

2 Check the C/F bit for the slot, and if it is 0, this means that the slot will continue to be used, so the reserved bit 1 is left unchanged. This prohibits other slave stations or the master station from using the slot during one loop.

3 If the C/F bit of the receiving slot is 1,
Since this represents the last information from the transmitting station, the reserved bit is changed to 0, the slot is released, and the slot can be used by another station.

In this way, according to the embodiment described above, it is possible to reserve an empty slot from both the transmitting terminal and the receiving terminal, and by setting a limit on the empty slots that can be accessed on the transmitting terminal side and the receiving terminal side. , equal opportunity for accessing empty slots between upper and lower stations is achieved.

In addition, in the above-mentioned embodiment, the transmission terminal side,
Although the receiving terminal side corresponds to the odd-numbered frame and the even-numbered frame, respectively, as an alternative, for example, the receiving terminal side may be made to correspond to the first half and the second half of the same frame, respectively, or the receiving terminal side may be respectively made to correspond to the odd-numbered time slot of the same frame. , it is also possible to correspond to even-numbered time slots.
