In general, a capacitor used in an automobile air conditioner has a flat refrigerant guide tube 1 meanderingly curved as shown in FIG. 1, and heat transfer fins 2 are attached between the tubes to form a core portion 3. , support members 4 and 5 having a U-shaped cross section are fixed to both ends of the core portion 3, respectively. The thus formed capacitor is attached to the vehicle body by bolts to the front of the radiator of the vehicle body. For this purpose, a bracket 6 is fixed to the support members 4, 5, and a hole 7 is formed in this bracket, through which a bolt or screw passes.

However, the vertical and horizontal distances l 1 and l 2 of the hole 6 differ depending on the vehicle model, and the mounting position of the bolt or screw to the vehicle body differs depending on the vehicle model. Therefore, it was necessary to change the vertical and horizontal spacing of the holes to correspond to each vehicle type. For this reason, with the conventional structure, it was necessary to manufacture capacitors with various types of brackets depending on the vehicle type.

The condenser has a flat refrigerant guiding tube 1 meanderingly curved, heat transfer fins 2 are attached between the tubes to form a core part 3, and support members 4 each having a U-shaped cross section are attached to both ends of the core part 3. 5 is fixed. As shown in FIGS. 4A and 4B, the support members 4 and 5 have positioning holes 8 formed in their side walls as first positioning engagement parts, and are spaced at predetermined intervals from each other with reference to these holes. A large number of screw holes 9 are bored in the tube 1, avoiding the arcuate portion thereof. Further, one of the left and right support members 4 and 5 has a hole 12 into which the inlet union 10 and outlet union 11 of the tube 1 are fitted.

On the other hand, as shown in FIGS. 3A and 3B, the bracket 6 includes a base plate part 14 on which a protrusion 13 is formed as a second positioning engagement part that engages with the positioning hole 8 of the support members 4 and 5, and a base plate part 14 formed thereon. It consists of two L-shaped legs 15 that are screwed or welded to each other. 2
The mutual dimensions of the book legs 15 vary depending on the dimensions of the support plate 16 on the vehicle body side, so they are formed in accordance with the type of vehicle to which the book is to be attached. In addition, the length of the board portion 14 differs depending on the vehicle model, so
Three screw through holes 17 are inserted into the base plate portion 14 of the bracket 6 in correspondence with one or more of the numerous screw holes 9, for example, three screw holes 9 as shown in the figure. It is drilled in. Even if the length of the base plate 14 of the bracket 6 differs depending on the vehicle model, the position of the screw through hole 17 should be made to correspond to one of the holes 9 for screw fixing, and the dimensions of the support members 4 and 5 should be adjusted. or have the same shape. In the illustrated embodiment, the first positioning engagement portion is connected to the hole 8.
Although the case where the projection 13 is used as the second positioning engagement portion is shown, the relationship between the hole 8 and the projection 13 may be reversed.

Next, the procedure for attaching the capacitor shown in FIG. 2 to the vehicle body will be explained. First, positioning hole 8
The support members 4 and 5 and the bracket 6 are aligned so that the protrusion 13 is engaged with the support members 4 and 5. Next, the tapping screw 18 is inserted through the screw through hole 17, and the tapping screw 18 is screwed in while being pushed into the screwing hole 9. As a result, the tapping screw 18 is attached to the screwing hole 9 while a female thread is formed by the tapping screw 18. During this work,
Since the protrusion 13 and the positioning hole 8 are engaged, the bracket 6 is prevented from slipping off the support members 4 and 5, and the bracket 6 can be quickly and easily installed, and the bracket 6 is compatible with the bracket 6. The three screw through holes 17 and the three corresponding screw holes 9 are positioned.

After the bracket 6 has been attached to the support members 4 and 5 in this way, the bolt 19 is inserted into the support plate 16 on the vehicle body side, and the weld nut 20 welded to the leg 15 of the bracket 6 and the bolt 1 are attached.
9 are screwed together. This completes the work of attaching the capacitor to the vehicle body. Although FIG. 3 shows the bracket 6 attached to the right support 5 shown in FIG. 2, the bracket 6 attached to the left support 4 is also formed in substantially the same manner.
However, the shapes are symmetrical to each other. Further, the support 4 on the left side in FIG. 2 is formed almost the same as the support 5 on the right side. However, the left support 4 does not have a hole 12 into which the union fits.

As described above, according to the present invention, the first positioning engagement part is formed in the support member of the capacitor, and a large number of screw holes are bored at predetermined intervals from each other based on the engagement part, A second positioning engagement part that engages with the first positioning engagement part is formed on the bracket to be attached to the vehicle body, and a screw through hole is drilled to correspond to the screw fixing hole, so that it is compatible with the vehicle model. By forming a bracket with the support member, one type of capacitor can be installed and used in many car models.
With the positioning engagement part engaged with the second positioning engagement part of the bracket, align the bracket with the support member and use a screw member such as a screw to engage the support and the bracket. The bracket can be quickly attached to the capacitor.
