Conventionally, vehicle refrigeration and cooling systems have been devised that use a single compressor to freeze and cool the vehicle, but these systems do not allow refrigerant to flow through the cooling system after freezing. Because
The cooling effect was hardly expected, and it was difficult to create comfortable operating conditions. For this reason, for multi-cylinder type compressors such as rotary swash plate type compressors, a method was devised in which the refrigerant condensed and liquefied in a condenser is divided and flowed to each cooling evaporator and freezing evaporator. However, according to this, since the amount of refrigerant flowing to both evaporators is sucked into the two suction ports of the compressor, it is determined from the evaporation temperature and degree of superheat of each, and the volumetric efficiency determined by the volume ratio of the volume of the compressor and the compression ratio of each. Since the capacity was fixed, it was impossible to respond to requests to increase and set the capacity on the refrigeration side during combined operation of cooling and refrigeration, or conversely to increase and set the capacity on the cooling side. .

For this reason, in this invention, in order to create a difference in the refrigerating capacity of the cooling evaporator and the freezing evaporator, the refrigerant flowing into one evaporator is high-pressure liquefied refrigerant before flowing into the other evaporator. The capacity of the other evaporator is increased by increasing the degree of supercooling.

The pipe 9b is provided downstream of the T-shaped branch pipe 7 and up to the inlet of the refrigeration evaporator 10. Therefore, the refrigerant flowing out from the cooling evaporator 8 cools the high-pressure liquefied refrigerant in the freezing evaporator 10 flowing through the pipe 9b to further evaporate in the chamber 9a of the heat extensifier 9. The degree of subcooling of the liquefied refrigerant is further increased. This makes it possible to reduce the enthalpy of the refrigerant on the freezing side.

In the above configuration, when the compressor 1 is driven, the pressurized refrigerant is discharged and condensed and liquefied in the condenser 5, and this high-pressure liquefied refrigerant is transferred to the T-shaped branch pipe 7.
This causes the flow to the cooling evaporator 8 and the freezing evaporator 10, but it further evaporates in the chamber 9a of the heat extensifier 9 connected to the outlet side of the cooling evaporator 8. The function is to cool the high-pressure liquefied refrigerant flowing into the evaporator 10 and increase the degree of subcooling. As a result, the enthalpy of the refrigerant on the refrigeration side becomes smaller, and even if the refrigerant flow rate remains the same, the amount of absorbed heat increases, so that the refrigerating capacity increases.
On the other hand, on the cooling side, although the refrigerant flow rate does not change, a portion of the evaporation heat is absorbed from the heat extractor 9, so the cooling capacity decreases.

In addition, in this example, the configuration is such that the cooling capacity is decreased and the refrigeration capacity is increased.
On the other hand, it is obvious that in order to increase the cooling capacity and decrease the refrigeration capacity, the configuration can be reversed.

As mentioned above, this idea is based on a refrigeration/cooling system that has a multi-cylinder compressor with independent volumes and two evaporators installed in parallel to the compressor, in which the refrigerant flowing through one of the evaporators causes the refrigerant to flow through the other evaporator. A heat extensifier is provided on the inlet side of the other evaporator to increase the degree of subcooling of the high-pressure liquefied refrigerant before the inflow of the refrigerant, and the heat extensifier is operated at the temperature of the outlet side of the heat extensifier on the inlet side of at least one of the evaporators. Since a heat-sensitive expansion valve is provided, the excess or redundant refrigerating capacity of one cycle can be converted into enthalpy and transferred to the other cycle where the refrigeration capacity is insufficient. The capacity of each cycle, which is originally determined by the volume and volumetric efficiency of each, can be adjusted, and the structure is extremely simple.
