Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、ケーブルクランプ組立用キツトに関
するものである。
電気コネクタから延びるケーブルを固定する際
には、ケーブル芯線とコネクタの接触子の間の電
気的接続部分にストレスが生じないようにするの
が望ましい。
従来のケーブルクランプ組立用キツトは、互い
に結合されたとき内部にケーブル収容室を形成す
る一対のハウジング部材、横方向に延びる隆起部
を備えたケーブル係合面を有する単一のケーブル
固定部材、およびハウジング部材に設けられ、組
み立てられた状態のハウジング部材をケーブルに
結合されたコネクタに取り付けるための取り付け
手段からなり、一方のハウジング部材にはケーブ
ル固定部材を収容するための凹部が設けられてお
り、この凹部内にケーブル固定部材が収容され
て、ハウジング部材が互いに結合されたとき、そ
の隆起部がケーブル収容室の横方向に延び、この
ケーブル収容室内に収容されているケーブルを係
合保持するように構成されていた。
この従来のケーブルクランプ組立用キツトにお
いては、ケーブル固定部材が一つしか使用されて
いないので、ケーブルの支持が不均一なものとな
り、従つて特にケーブルが複数本の電線からなる
とき、コネクタの歪を良好に逃がすことができな
いという欠点があつた。
従つて本発明は、上述したような従来のケーブ
ルクランプ組立用キツトの欠点を解消したケーブ
ルクランプ組立用キツトを提供することを目的と
するものである。
本発明によるケーブルクランプ組立用キツト
は、他方のハウジング部材にもケーブル固定部材
を収容するための凹部が形成されており、この凹
部内にはもう一つのケーブル固定部材が収容され
ており、２つのハウジング部材をその凹部ととも
に整列した状態で掛金係合させる手段が設けられ
ており、そしてケーブル固定部材のケーブル係合
面が所定形状のケーブル収容室を形成することを
特徴とするものである。
本発明によるケーブルクランプ組立用キツトに
おいては、組立てられたとき、クランプハウジン
グのより中央で、正確にケーブルを支持すること
ができ、そして歪を望ましい状態で逃がすことが
できる。
ケーブルクランプ組立用キツトは、種々のサイ
ズのケーブル固定部材を備えていることが望まし
い。こうすることによつて、いろいろな種類のク
ランプを使用することなく、単一のキツトで種々
のサイズのケーブルに適合することができるの
で、コストが安くなる。
また、少なくとも幾つかのケーブル固定部材
が、横方向に延びかつ周方向に配置された隆起部
を備えた弧状のケーブル係合面およびこの弧状の
ケーブル係合面に対して反対側に配置され、この
弧状の係合面の隆起部とほぼ同様に配置され横方
向に延びる突出部を備えた平坦なケーブル係合面
を有していることが望ましい。
単一のキツトを使用し得るケーブルのサイズと
形状の範囲は、ケーブル固定部材を異なつた向き
に配置することによつて更に広げることができ
る。
更に、各ケーブル固定部材がそのケーブル係合
面をケーブルに対して押し付けるための弾性手段
を有しているのが望ましい。この弾性手段は、
種々のサイズのケーブルを有効に固定できるよう
なものであることが望ましい。
以下添付図面を参照しながら本発明によるケー
ブルクランプ組立用キツトの実施例を説明する。
本発明による第１の実施例によるケーブルクラ
ンプ組立用キツトは、同一形状であつてそれぞれ
が結合用の雄部および雌部を備えている一対のハ
ウジング部材１１および複数個のケーブル固定部
材１２からなる。
ハウジング部材１１は、それぞれ一体成形さ
れ、そしてスロツト１５内に設けられた係止部材
１４に係合する耳部１３からなる補助的な掛金手
段を備えている。各ハウジング部材は、その後端
にケーブル固定部材１２を収容するための細長い
凹部１６を有しており、そして２つのハウジング
部材は組立てられたとき、それらの間にケーブル
収容室１７を形成し、２つの凹部１６は整列して
ケーブル収容室１７の横方向に延びている。各ハ
ウジング部材は、その前端に、ハウジング部材が
それぞれ自体がコネクタ２０に取り付けるように
組み立てられたとき、コネクタ２０上のアーム１
９と掛金係合するための一対の指状部１８を有し
ている。ケーブル固定部材１２は、第４図に示さ
れているように、はしご状に配置された２つのグ
ループのストリツプからなるように形成されてい
る。ケーブル固定部材は漸次サイズが大きくなつ
ているものであり、そしてそれぞれにケーブル係
合面２２を横切つて延びる一対の隆起部２１が形
成されている。一方のグループにおけるケーブル
固定部材は平坦なケーブル係合面２２を有し、他
方のグループにおけるケーブル固定部材は平坦な
ケーブル係合面２２と反対側に設けられた弧状の
ケーブル係合面２３を有しており、そして隆起部
はケーブル係合面２３に沿つて延び周方向に配置
されている。
キツトの使用においては、使用する一対のケー
ブル固定部材を選択してストリツプから取り外
し、凹部１６にそれぞれ挿入する。次いで、ハウ
ジング部材が内部にコネクタハウジングとケーブ
ルを収容した状態で一体に組み立てられると、隆
起部がケーブルと係合した状態でケーブル収容室
の横方向に延び、ケーブル固定部材はそれらの間
に所定形状のケーブル収容用開口を形成する。
従つて、ケーブルがクランプの実質的に中央を
直線状に延びるようにして、一つのキツトで種々
の形状およびサイズのケーブルを固定することが
できる。
第５図に示された第２の実施例においては、各
ケーブル固定部材２４は、プラスチツク材料で一
体形成されたものであつて、隆起部２１を有する
平坦で細長いケーブル係合面２５を備えており、
隆起部２１はケーブル係合面２５を横切つて延び
弾性環状部材２７を形成する一対の弧状のアーム
によつて平坦な基部２６に結合されており、そし
てこの環状部材２７の可撓性によつて種々のサイ
ズのケーブルに使用できるようになつている。
このキツトは、米国特許第3569909号または第
3989343号に記載されているようなコネクタとと
もに使用することができる。

図、第５図は、本発明の第２の実施例によるケー

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １ 互いに結合されたとき内部にケーブル収容室
    を形成する一対のハウジング部材、横方向に延び
    る隆起部を備えたケーブル面を有する単一のケー
    ブル固定部材、およびハウジング部材に設けら
    れ、組み立てられた状態の前記ハウジング部材を
    ケーブルに結合されたコネクタに取り付けるため
    の取り付け手段からなり、一方のハウジング部材
    には前記ケーブル固定部材を収容するための凹部
    が形成されており、この凹部内に前記ケーブル固
    定部材が収容されて、ハウジング部材が互いに結
    合されたとき、前記隆起部が前記ケーブル収容室
    の横方向に延び、このケーブル収容室内に収容さ
    れているケーブルを結合保持するようになつてい
    るケーブルクランプ組立用キツトにおいて、他方
    のハウジング部材１１にもケーブル固定部材を収
    容するための凹部１６が設けられており、この凹
    部１６内にはもう一つのケーブル固定部材１２が
    収容されており、前記２つのハウジング部材１１
    をその凹部１６とともに整合した状態で掛金係合
    させる手段が設けられており、そして前記ケーブ
    ル固定部材１２または２４のケーブル係合面２
    ２，２３または２５が所定形状のケーブル収容用
    開口を形成しており、前記係合面２２，２３また
    は２５の少なくとも一方には前記ケーブルと係合
    するように各々前記ケーブル収容用開口を横切つ
    て延びる２つの隆起部が設けられていることを特
    徴とするケーブルクランプ組立用キツト。 ２ 前記ケーブル固定部材１２を異なつたサイズ
    のケーブル固定部材と置換できるように一連の異
    なつたサイズのケーブル固定部材を備えているこ
    とを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第１項記載のケー
    ブルクランプ組立用キツト。 ３ 前記一連のケーブル固定部材１２のうちの少
    なくとも幾つかのケーブル固定部材が、横方向に
    延びかつ周方向に配置された隆起部２１を備えた
    弧状のケーブル係合面２３、およびこの弧状のケ
    ーブル係合面２３に対して反対側に配置され、前
    記隆起部２１と同様に配置され横方向に延びる隆
    起部２１を備えている平坦なケーブル係合面２２
    を有していることを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第
    ２項記載のケーブルクランプ組立用キツト。 ４ 前記ケーブル固定部材１２が前記ケーブル係
    合面２５をケーブルに対して押し付けるための弾
    性手段２７を有していることを特徴とする特許請
    求の範囲第１項記載のケーブルクランプ組立用キ
    ツト。 ５ 前記弾性手段２７が、前記ケーブル係合面２
    ５を基部２６に一体的に結合する弾性環状部材か
    らなつていることを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第
    ４項記載のケーブルクランプ組立用キツト。 ６ 前記一対のハウジング部材１１が同一形状で
    あつてそれぞれが結合用の雄部および雌部を有し
    ていることを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第１項な
    いし第５項のいずれかに記載のケーブルクランプ
    組立用キツト。
