Claims (1)
- トロコイド状の内周面を持つロータハウジング
と、その両側に配設したサイドハウジングから成
るケーシング内を多角形状のロータが、その頂辺
部に嵌装されたアペツクスシールをロータハウジ
ング内周面に摺接させながら遊星回転運動するよ
うに構成したロータリピストンエンジンにおいて
、上記アペツクスシールのロータハウジング内周
面に摺接する頂面の横断面形状を、該ロータハウ
ジング内周面と実質摺接する摺接面を該アペツク
スシール中心線上に中心点を持つ半径で形成され
た円弧とすると共に、該摺接面より外方に位置し
た頂面は、上記円弧の延長面より半径方向外方に
位置する非摺接面としたことを特徴とするロータ
リピストンエンジンのアペツクスシール構造。
