ール)を満足するマルチフラメントよりなる鞘糸
が、実質的に芯糸を完全被覆する如く一方向のみ
に捲回して捲き付いて地糸部分(非節糸部分)を
形成すると共に、糸軸方向に間歇的に三重又はそ
れ以上に捲きついて節糸部を形成し、且つ該節糸
部の単繊維の一部がループ・たるみとなつて節糸
部の囲りに張り出していることを特徴とする紬調

本発明の意匠糸の1例を示めす顕微鏡写真であ

又芯糸を完全に被覆するためには、芯糸となるフ
イラメント糸のトータル・デニールとの関係にお

に示すような方法によつて作られる。即ち、第5
図においてボビン5′に巻かれている芯糸5は、
フイード・ローラ7,7′によつて、仮撚加工域
へ供給され、一方ボビン6′に巻かれている鞘糸
6はフイード・ローラ8,8′によつて、同じく
仮撚加工域へ供給される。仮撚加工域へ供給され
た芯糸5を鞘糸6は、仮撚加工手段11によつ
て、仮撚をかけら、引張ローラ12,12′を介
して、巻取ボビン13に巻き上げられる。9は、
鞘糸6の供給ガイド10は、加熱ヒーターを示
す。(第5図は、本発明の意匠糸を得る方法の1
例を示す工程図である。)
鞘糸6は、芯糸5より大なる供給量で且つ60〜
150%のオーバーフイード量で供給される。鞘糸
6の供給角度は、90゜又は90゜より小さい事が望
ましく、供給ガイド9は、芯糸5よに20cm以上離
れたところに置くことが望ましく、これによつ
て、鞘糸6で芯糸5を被覆する作用を助長する。
即ち、鞘糸6は単繊維デニールが1デニール未満
で、構成本数Nが1.5D<N<3×Dを満足する
ようなフイラメントからなるものであるから、該
フイラメントは集束されることなく、芯糸5の囲
りに捲付き地糸部を形成する。又、該紬糸6は60
%以上のオーバーフイード量で供給されているの
で、芯鞘糸5の糸軸方向に間歟的にトラバースし
て、三重又はそれ以上の捲付き構造を有する節糸
部を形成する。この節糸部の成に当つては、単繊
維デニールか1デニール未満であるので、その剛
性が小さく、捲付きに際して鞘糸6が集束が乱さ
れ、一部の鞘糸を構成するフイラメントはルー
プ・たるみとなつて節糸部の囲りに張り出した形
態となることは既に述べた通りである。尚、鞘糸
6は150%以下のオーバーフイード量で供給する
ことが好ましく、150%%を超えるオーバーフイ
ード量で供給した場合は、鞘糸6の剛性が小さい
ために、三重以上の捲付構造をなさず、良好な節

実施例
芯糸として、ポリエステルフイラメント糸(50

て、同じくポリエステルの極細フイラメント(64
デニール/144フイラメント)を使用して、鞘糸
を120%でオーバーフイードしながら、第5図に
示すような工程に供給して同時に仮撚加工して、
紬調織編物用意匠糸を得た。この糸を使用して、
経密度24本/cm,緯密度23本/cmの平織の組織を
有する織物を作りこれを35g/の苛性ソーダを
用いて温度97℃において30分間処理し、減量加工
を施した。得られた織物は、柔かな地糸部を有す
ると共に、柔かで且つ膨みのある節糸部を有す
