た。 Guide rollers are always used when coating and baking paint on long electric wires and tapes, but as these guide rollers are used for a long time, oil, tar, or dust gets stuck in their grooves. ,
This has caused not only damage to the surface of electric wires and tapes, but also a deterioration of required properties.
In addition, as the shaft portion that has the function of rotating the guide rollers has been used for a long time, dust has become mixed with oil and grease, making the rotation of the guide rollers heavier, which has become a cause of wire elongation. Therefore, the portion of the guide roller that comes into contact with the shaft portion needs to be cleaned at regular intervals.

にかかわらず、困難であつた。 However, the conventional guide roller cleaning method is
immersed in organic solvent or alkaline liquid,
This has been done by swelling, dissolving, or decomposing the deposits, but when an organic solvent is used, the organic solvent deteriorates in a short period of time, reducing the cleaning ability. Furthermore, since organic solvents are handled, special care must be taken in terms of occupational hygiene, which requires the installation of large-scale equipment such as local exhaust ventilation.
In the case of cleaning with alkali, the deposits are removed by decomposing the deposits and reducing the adhesion to the substrate, but it takes time to decompose the deposits, and acid is used to treat the alkaline solution. There were also problems in terms of cost, such as the need for neutralization treatment. Although cleaning the grooves of the guide rollers is particularly important, it has been difficult.

We have discovered that cleaning can be done easily and at low cost.
以下、本発明を詳細に説明する。 The present invention will be explained in detail below.

Furthermore, in the case of amphoteric metals such as aluminum, elution may occur even when connected to an aluminum cathode, so the application of electrolytic cleaning methods has not progressed. However, when somewhat mild conditions are applied to the object to be treated in electrolytic cleaning, hydrogen embrittlement hardly occurs in iron-based metals, and there is no adverse effect on the guide roller after cleaning. It was also found that by repeatedly removing deposits by washing, it can be used semi-permanently. It was also found that for non-ferrous metals, mainly aluminum and copper, hydrogen embrittlement is negligible, and the effect of electrolytic cleaning is extremely large. For amphoteric metal aluminum, slight elution occurs during electrolytic cleaning. However, when the surface is lightly rubbed to remove deposits such as oil and grease tar that have surfaced on the aluminum surface after electrolytic cleaning, the irregularities on the surface are only crushed, and there is no problem in actual use. It has not caused any problems. Moreover, even after repeated electrolytic cleaning, the product did not become unusable due to metal elution. Rather, it is more effective to perform electrolytic cleaning when the deposits can be removed relatively easily, rather than to perform electrolytic cleaning after the deposits have adhered to the conductor and cannot be removed easily.

For example, carbonate, phosphate, common salt, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, and nitric acid can be used. Among these, caustic soda, sodium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate, sodium silicate, etc. are even more effective because they have the ability to degrease fats and oils and decompose deposits simply by immersion. A current density of 0.1 to 40 mA/mm 2 is sufficient during electrolytic cleaning, but it can be changed depending on the degree of adhesion of deposits to the guide roller.

た。 In the present invention, in electrolytic cleaning, a current in which alternating current and alternating current are superimposed can be used at the same time as direct current. In this case, it has been found that oil, fat, tar, and other deposits adhering to the guide roller can be removed better, and hydrogen embrittlement of iron-based metals or dissolution of amphoteric metals does not pose any problems.

Then, a voltage can be applied using this as an anode and the guide roller body as a cathode. This method also includes a method of removing deposits from the groove by gently rubbing the groove after removing the electrode and the electrolyte holder such as cloth after a certain period of energization.

A stainless steel wire was wrapped once, and electrolytic cleaning was performed for 5 minutes at a current density of 20 mA/mm 2 using the guide roller as a cathode and the stainless steel wire as an anode. A 1% aqueous sodium bicarbonate solution was used as the conductive liquid that permeated the gauze. After electrolytic cleaning, the deposits that had lost their adhesive strength and floated to the groove surface were gently rubbed, then washed with water and dried. As a result, a guide roller with clean grooves was obtained.
