配慮が欠如しがちで、そのため、筐体2内の全体

限界がある。それは、冷却部の表面積が発熱源全
体の表面積に比しかなり小さなものとなるからで
ある。このようなことから冷却効果に限界があ
り、温度上昇の影響を受け易い部分において温度
上昇値をある範囲内に押えようとする時には必要
以上の無駄な風量が浪費されることになる。ま
た、前記通気口1は、鎧戸あるいは多数の長穴を
あけた構造としているため、騒音が大きな問題と
なる。印字装置特にインパクト式印字装置は、活
字を打撃して印字するためその騒音は大きく、前
記通気口1を通過して放出される騒音は防音対策
上大きな問題となつている。

度コントロールが必要であること及び印字機構部
は発熱量が最大で冷気が暖気に変わる部分である
こと等から各部を冷却する順序を考慮しなければ
ならないこと、空気のよどみを最小限に押えるこ
とが冷却効果を高めるということ及び音は直進す
る(一部の回折現象を除き)ことに着目し、前記
電源部、カードバスケツト部、印字機構部等の各
部の配置を冷却風の流れを考慮して決定し、かつ
筐体底部に吸入口と吐き出し口を設けると共に空
気すなわち冷却風が筐体内を前記吸入口から吐き
出し口へよどみなく一定の方向に流れるように仕
切り板を設け、以つて冷却効果を向上できるよう
にすると共に騒音が直接出ないようにしたことを
特徴とするものである。以下実施例を示した第2
図を参照して本発明を説明する。

設け、吸入口7から吸入された冷気が吐き出し口
8に直接行かず、筐体2内を迂回して各発熱源を
冷却しながら吐き出し口8に到達するように空気
流通路を形成させ、以つて空気が一方向のみに流
れるようにして暖気がよどみなく吐き出し口8よ
り放出され、冷気が次々に吸入口7より吸入され
るようにした。
