    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 上面開口のボトムカバーと下面開口のメインカ
    バーとを着脱自在に結合してなる筐体を設け、こ
    の筐体の内部に往復動するキヤリアを含む印字機
    構を設け、前記キヤリアのホームポジシヨンを検
    出するホームポジシヨン検出器と操作スイツチと
    表示器等を保持する操作パネルを左右いずれか一
    方に寄せて前記ボトムカバー側に固定的に設け、
    前記筐体の前面に前記ボトムカバーと前記メイン
    カバーとの接合縁の延長線が開口面内に含まれる
    ように前記操作パネルを露出させる窓を形成した
    ことを特徴とする印字機の操作パネル支持装置。
