The cause of this is that used seats and hood fabrics have fine iron powder, etc. that causes sparks attached to them.If these iron powders that cause sparks, etc. are completely removed, the generation of sparks can be prevented. It can be prevented.

According to this experiment, if iron powder was shining directly on the peripheral edge of the electrode mold, or if iron powder was present near the inside and outside of the mold edge, sparks were generated from the mold edge. It was found that no spark was generated in the area covered with the repair test piece (which is an electrical insulator) even if there was iron powder underneath the repair test piece.

Based on this idea, we made a repair test piece that protrudes far beyond the mold edge and conducted a welding test.We found that even if iron powder was present in the spark generation area around the mold edge, the spark It has been found that this does not occur.Means for solving the even problem] This invention was made based on the above-mentioned experiment,
Seats with lacerations a, holes, etc., and base fabric to repair the hood 1
When the repair piece 2 that can be high-frequency welded is applied to the repair area such as a tear or a hole in the base fabric 1 and pressure welded by high-frequency welding R3, the covered repair area is larger than the repair area of the base fabric repair area. Using the repair piece 2 and an electrode mold 4 of a size corresponding to the covered repair area of the base fabric repair point, this electrode mold 4
After the repair piece 2 and the base fabric 1 are frequency welded by embossing with the repair piece 2 protruding outward from the outer peripheral edge part 4a of the embossed welding part 2a of the repair piece 2, Emboss the non-welded remaining part 2b that protrudes further and weld the outer outline 2C
It is characterized by cutting along.

て第4図のように鋏で切取った。In addition, the repair piece 2 to be applied to the base fabric repair area is made of the same material as the base fabric 1, but a piece slightly thinner than the base fabric 1 is used to repair the covering area of the base fabric repair area. Area (15
For example, it is formed to have a size larger than 0 cd), for example, to protrude by about 2 cIR over the entire area from the outer periphery of the replacement mold 4, and to have a size of about 26 Gaj). Further, the electrode mold 4 is composed of a flat brass plate with a smooth lower surface without irregularities, and its size corresponds to the covered repair area of the repaired portion of the base fabric, for example, 10 mm.
It was formed to a size of about 15.times. Then, apply the repair piece 2 to the repaired area of the base fabric 1 where there is a tear a and a hole as shown in FIG. Place the repair piece 2 in a state where it protrudes outward from 4a (the state shown in Fig. 2),
The repair portion of the base fabric placed on the mold is fixed to the lower electrode built-in machine base 3a of the high frequency welding machine 3 and the upper electrode 3 attached to the pressurizing movable body 3b.
C, as shown in FIG.
When the repair piece 2 and the base fabric 1 were high-frequency welded, no sparks were observed at all. Next, the mold mounting base cloth 1 is pulled forward from the high-frequency welding machine 3, and after removing the electrode mold 4, the non-welded remaining portion 2b protruding from the embossing welded portion 2a of the repair piece 2 is embossing. It was cut with scissors along the weld line 2C as shown in Figure 4.

がある。The above repair method is performed by placing the electrode mold 4 on the repair piece 2, but the electrode mold 4 is placed on the base fabric repair piece 2.
High-frequency welding may be performed by attaching it to the pressurizing movable body 3b of the high-frequency welding machine 3 so that a high-frequency voltage can be applied to it, without placing it on top. However, in this case, it is necessary to correctly regulate the positional relationship between the electrode mold 4 and the repair piece 2 as shown in FIG. 2 by adjusting the insertion set of the base fabric repair area into the high frequency welding machine 3.

。Next, we will explain the repair method when the base fabric 1 to be repaired of the seat or hood is cotton canvas. In the case of this cotton canvas base fabric, it is difficult to weld it with just the repair piece 2 mentioned above.
A tube, sheet, etc. of thermoplastic synthetic resin that is easy to be welded by high frequency is sandwiched between the repair piece 2 and the cotton canvas base fabric 1, and the repair piece 2 and the cotton canvas base fabric are assembled by embossing with the electrode mold 4. 1 by high frequency welding.

修理方法。As a base fabric to repair a seat or hood with tears, holes, etc., a repair piece that can be high-frequency welded is applied to the repair area of the base fabric, and pressure welded using a high-frequency welding machine. When repairing, use a repair piece larger than the coverage repair area of the base fabric repair location and an electrode mold of a size corresponding to the coverage repair area of the base fabric repair location, and perform the repair from the outer peripheral edge of this electrode mold. After high-frequency welding the repair piece and the base fabric by embossing the piece with the piece protruding outward, the unwelded remaining part protruding from the embossing welded part of the repair piece is stamped to form the welding outline. A method for repairing seats and hoods, which is characterized by cutting along the lines.
