素検知器であつて、先端部に酸素検知部が設けら
れた長手形状の酸素検知素子と、被測定ガス中に
挿入、位置せしめられて、該被測定ガスに晒され
る、少なくとも前記検知部を含む酸素検知素子部
分を保護するための保護カバー部と、該酸素検知
素子の被測定ガスに晒されない部分を覆う保護筒
部と、酸素検知器を被測定ガス流通管等の隔壁に
取り付けるためのハウジングとを有するものにお
いて、 前記保護筒部と一体となつて保護管体を形成す
る1つの保護カバー部材に、前記被測定ガスが前
記酸素検知素子部分に到る通路をさらに制限する
他の保護カバー部材を組合わせて保護カバー部を
構成し、且つ該保護管体が前記ハウジングに実質
的に気密に取り付けられていることを特徴とする
