The principle of the electromagnetic forming method is as follows. That is, when a large impact current flows through a shaping coil, a magnetic field is generated around the shaping coil. When the strength of the magnetic field changes, an electric current is induced in the workpiece (tube) placed within the magnetic field. The direction of this induced current flows in a direction that prevents changes in the magnetic field. Due to the interaction of these two magnetic fields, the tube material receives a large repulsive force from the forming coil, and forming is performed. At this time, a magnetic flux concentrator is used between the coil and the tube in order to concentrate such a strong electromagnetic forming force on the necessary parts of the tube.

[Prior Art] As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, for example, a conventional magnetic flux concentrator 1 is arranged concentrically inside or outside a solenoid-shaped forming coil 2, and has an axis. It has a hole 3 in the direction, and a tube material 4, which is a workpiece, is placed inside this hole 3. In addition, a slit 5 is formed in the magnetic flux concentrator 1 and reaches the hole 3 from the outer peripheral surface, and through this slit 5, a surface layer 6 of the hole 3 and the outer periphery facing the forming coil 2 of the magnetic flux concentrator 1 are formed. The surface 7 is continuous. Therefore, the induced current flows on the surface of the magnetic flux concentrator 1 as shown by the arrow.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, with the magnetic flux concentrator having such a configuration, only one tube material can be processed in one discharge, resulting in low productivity. Furthermore, the surface layer of the slit 5 occupies a large proportion of the path through which the induced current flows, resulting in low efficiency (work/charging energy).

[Function] In the magnetic flux concentrator 11 configured in this way, it is set inside the forming coil 12a, and each hole 13
When a large current is applied through the forming coil 12a with the tube material 14 arranged in the areas a to 13d, the magnetic flux concentrator 1
An induced current flows along the outer peripheral surface 17 facing the forming coil 12a, and further flows along the surface of the slits 15a to 15d, through the holes 13a to 13.
d flows to the surface layer 16. This current induces a current in the opposite direction in the surface layer of the tube material 14, and due to the repulsion between the current flowing in the tube material 14 and the current flowing in the magnetic flux concentrator 11, holes 13a to 13
The four pipe materials 14 set at point d are processed simultaneously.

(c) Effects of the invention: As is clear from the above explanation, by providing a plurality of holes for setting the tube material in the magnetic flux concentrator,
It is possible to shrink or assemble a plurality of tube materials at the same time, and productivity can be improved. In addition, as a result of providing multiple holes, the current path in the magnetic flux concentrator becomes longer, and the repulsive force between the magnetic flux concentrator and the forming coil becomes weaker.
This can prevent damage to the molding coil. Moreover, unlike the conventional method, long slits are not formed, and as shown in the experimental example, the decrease in magnetic flux density in each hole is relatively small, and the value of (work/charge energy) increases as a whole. Efficiency can be achieved. Moreover, hole 14a
By selecting various cross-sectional shapes and axial shapes of 14d to 14d, it is possible to process the tube material into any desired shape.
