結果を第1表に示す。
The present invention relates to a solid lubricant for manufacturing corrugated board and a method for manufacturing the same. The corrugation formability of the core is extremely important in the corrugated board manufacturing process, and it is well known that the productivity, physical properties, etc. of corrugated board are greatly influenced by the corrugation formability of the core. If the corrugating properties of the core are poor, problems such as corrugation and high/low conditions are likely to occur, and in severe cases, corrugator breakage will occur, so it is necessary to reduce the operating speed of the corrugator to prevent these problems. . Therefore, in order to improve the step formability of the core, there are methods of applying heat or blowing steam to the core immediately before step forming, or applying lubricant to the core to improve slipperiness and improve the formability. Measures are being taken to improve it. The present invention relates exclusively to the improvement of a lubricant that is applied to the core to improve the slipperiness of the core. The lubricant conventionally used is a solid lubricant formed into a square shape as shown in the perspective view of FIG. 5, which is fixed in a holder and applied by pressing it against the web of paper. However, such solid lubricants have the following drawbacks and cause various problems in practical use. Weak against impact and easily damaged. Due to height fluctuation due to decrease in solid lubricant,
The tension of the core changes, making it difficult to control the amount of application. In the square shape, part of the solid lubricant is fixed inside the holder, so the effective use of the solid lubricant is small. It is difficult to form into a square shape. The present inventors have conducted extensive research into solid lubricants for corrugated board manufacturing that eliminate the drawbacks of the above-described methods, and as a result have completed the present invention. That is, the present invention relates to a solid lubricant for manufacturing corrugated board, in which sheet-like base materials impregnated with a lubricant are laminated, and the layers are welded and integrated with each other by the lubricant. The sheet-like base material used in the solid lubricant of the present invention is easily impregnated with liquid lubricant and has a large ability to retain liquid lubricant, and is easily defibrated by friction with the core. However, it is best to choose one that will adhere to or fall off the core along with the lubricant. For example, dynamic
Examples include paper, nonwoven fabrics, and fabrics made from natural fibers such as plant fibers and synthetic polymers such as polyethylene and polypropylene, but especially nonwoven fabrics made from pulp with a density of 0.5 or less. preferable. The lubricant used in the present invention is a lubricant that is liquid at high temperatures and solid at room temperature, including waxes such as paraffin and chlorinated paraffin, low-molecular polyolefins such as polyethylene wax, rosin, petroleum resin sizing agents, and stearin. Examples include fatty acids and their salts represented by acids and their salts, aluminum waxes such as aluminum oxide acylate, etc., and it can be produced by using one or more of these. The shape of the solid lubricant is preferably cylindrical or cylindrical. With this shape, when the solid lubricant is pressed against the paper web, the lubricant hits the paper web evenly, and by gradually rotating the solid lubricant, it prevents uneven wear and tension control. Almost 100% of the active ingredients of solid lubricants
Can be used. Also, the amount of application can be controlled more easily than with the square shape. The size of the cylindrical or cylindrical solid lubricant is not particularly limited, but one with an outer diameter of 50 to 500 mm is economical and easy to handle. Of course, it can be used as a reinforcing material when forming a sheet-like base material into a square shape, and the reinforcing effect is great, but it is difficult to manufacture compared to a cylindrical or cylindrical shape. When the solid lubricant has a cylindrical shape, the core of the solid lubricant is preferably made of paper. When a paper core is used, the liquid lubricant penetrates into the core, the core and the lubricant are integrated, and it is possible to prevent the lubricant from peeling off from the core. Further, even if the lubricant runs out and the core and core come into direct contact, troubles caused by this can be prevented. Furthermore, when cutting the solid lubricant into a predetermined size, the core can be easily cut. The solid lubricant of the present invention is produced by impregnating a sheet-like base material with a liquid lubricant, then solidifying the lubricant, and integrating the layers by welding.Specifically, the manufacturing method shown below can be mentioned. However, it is not limited to this. FIG. 1 shows the most common method for producing the solid lubricant of the present invention. The sheet-like base material 1 rolled out from the winder installed in the unreel section is immersed in the heated and liquid lubricant 2 in the vat 3, and then cooled to some extent by the cooling device 5. It will be rolled up later. The lubricant has not yet completely solidified, and after the sheet-like base materials that are next to each other are welded together by the lubricant and are further cooled, the solid lubricant 4 of the present invention is completed. . FIG. 2 shows another method for producing the solid lubricant of the present invention. The rolled sheet-like base material 6 is slowly rotated, and the lubricant 2 heated from above and turned into liquid is dropped through the slit of the butt 7 to impregnate the roll of the sheet-like base material, and then cooled. This is a method of solidifying and obtaining the solid lubricant of the present invention. FIG. 3 shows yet another method for producing the solid lubricant of the present invention. The rolled sheet-like base material 6 was immersed in the heated and liquid lubricant 2, and the roll was slowly rotated while being immersed to sufficiently impregnate the entire roll with the lubricant. This is a method for obtaining the solid lubricant of the present invention by post-cooling and solidifying. FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing an example of the solid lubricant of the present invention. The solid lubricant 4 of the present invention formed on the core 8 is passed through the shaft 10 in single or multiple pieces arranged in the required width, fixed to the shaft by an auxiliary tool 9, and set on a corrugator. . FIG. 5 is a perspective view showing an example of a conventional solid lubricant. In the conventional solid lubricant 11, half of its effective portion was embedded in a holder 12, and in this state it was set in a corrugator. As is clear from this figure, it is clear that the solid lubricant of the present invention allows effective ingredients to be used more efficiently than conventional products. The solid lubricant of the present invention thus produced is applied to one or both sides of the core before the core is step-formed into a single facer. FIG. 6 is a schematic diagram when the solid lubricant of the present invention is used in a single facer. The core 13 rolled out from the winding provided in the unreel section is coated with the solid lubricant of the present invention, and then step-formed by step-forming rolls 14 and 15. Further, the core 13, whose top part is coated with adhesive by the glue applicator roll 16, is transferred to the corrugation forming roll 15.
and the liner 18 by the pressure roll 17.
The single-sided corrugated board 19 is obtained. The solid lubricant of the present invention has significantly improved strength compared to conventional products, so it will not be damaged by shocks caused by the joints of core paper winding during operation, and because of its low strength, it can be used when forming square timbers. It becomes possible to use lubricants such as paraffin alone, which cannot be used for other products. Moreover, since it is cylindrical or cylindrical, it is easy to mold and can be used 100% of the time. The present invention will be explained in more detail with reference to Examples below. Examples 1 and 2 1 part by weight of zinc stearate and 1 part by weight of paraffin were mixed, heated and melted, impregnated through a nonwoven fabric made from tissue paper with a density of 0.3 and wood pulp with a density of 0.2, and then rolled up and made into a book. A solid lubricant of the invention was prepared and molded to the dimensions shown in Table 1. This solid lubricant was applied to the core and the application status was examined. The results were good and I was able to apply it all the way to the end without any problems. For comparison, 1 part by weight of zinc stearate and 1 part by weight of paraffin were mixed, heated and melted, and the resulting mixture was formed into a square shape having the dimensions shown in Table 1 without impregnating the sheet-like base material. Comparative Example 1 was obtained by examining the coating conditions in the same manner as in Example 2. This solid lubricant was not only worn out unevenly but also damaged by the sudden impact from the base paper joint, so it could no longer be applied. The results are shown in Table 1.
