- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 直流電源と、回生用半導体素子とスイツチ
の並列接続と平滑コンデンサとからなる直流中間
回路と、この直流電源からの電力を直流中間回路
を介して受電して可変電圧の直流電力または交流
電力を出力するスイツチング回路とからなる電力
変換装置において、前記平滑コンデンサに直列に
接続するようにした保護抵抗を備えたことを特徴
とする電力変換装置。 (2) 実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項に記載の電
力変換装置において、保護抵抗が、直流電源の短
絡時半導体素子の電力損失をその素子の許容損失
値以下に抑制できる抵抗値を有するものである電
力変換装置。
