  1. 始動電動機により駆動される出力回転軸と、こ
    の出力回転軸に軸方向移動可能に嵌装され、前端
    部に機関リングギヤと噛合するピニオンを有し、
    かつクラツチカバーの外周に円筒状の組付用カバ
    ーを固着するようにしたオーバランニングクラツ
    チ装置において、上記カバーの前端縁内周面にピ
    ニオン歯先逃げ用の切込み部を配設したことを特
    徴とするオーバランニングクラツチ装置。
