By setting the pen pressure to be the same and setting the pen pressure to a certain value, for example, a relatively low value, it was possible to use a plurality of pen types. However, if you want to use the same machine to print and draw with an oil-based pressurized ballpoint pen that requires a pen pressure different from the pen pressure set above, such as a high pen pressure, you may need to change the head carriage mechanism or the length of the pen. There were shortcomings that needed to be changed.

When the solenoid 4 is attracted, the pen 7 is pinched onto the platen roller 2 via the lever 5 by the pressure of the pressure spring 8. Printing and drawing are performed by pressing the paper 1 sent by the roller 3 and performing x-y operations. Next, when the solenoid 4 is turned off, the lever 5 is pushed by the reset spring 6 and the pen 7 is released from the paper 1.

If it was desired to use a pen with a different pen pressure with this mechanism, the pressure spring 8 had to be replaced with a pressure spring with a different spring constant.

However, in this case, it is necessary to make cassettes corresponding to different pen pressures, which has disadvantages that affect cost and operability.

Furthermore, among the four (generally n) pens in this embodiment, a convex portion with a height of δ is formed at the position of the unused pen, and a convex portion with a height of δ is formed at the position corresponding to the used pen. By changing the pen pressure is set. In the example of FIG. 4, the first pen is selected for use. The height of the convex portion is set to O to obtain the maximum pen pressure. In the example of Fig. 5, the second to fourth
No pen is selected, the first pen is selected, and by setting the height of the convex portion to δ1, the pen pressure is set weaker than in the case of FIG. 4.
