As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, for example, the conventional entrance/exit management device for a mechanical multilevel parking system includes an operation panel 3 near the entrance/exit 2 of the parking lot 1, and a key 5 on the operation panel 3. Two-contact switching type (switching to instruct cars to enter and exit) key switches K1 to K15 (Figure 4 shows the case where the number of cages is 15) are provided for the number of cages that can be operated by the key 5. By inserting and operating these key switches K1 to K15, the cage corresponding to the operated key switch is called to entrance 2, and when leaving the parking lot, the parking fee is calculated in conjunction with the operation of the parking device. A method has already been proposed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 12898/1983.

However, such conventional devices require multiple dedicated keys and multiple key switches for the number of cages.
The disadvantage is that the control panel to which this key switch is attached is inevitably large, and the parking lot manager must prepare multiple keys in advance, so if a user accidentally loses the key. If it is lost, the administrator will have to create a new private key, regardless of the cost. Also, because it is a private key,
Both the administrator and the parking lot users need to take some consideration when using the parking lot, which places a mental burden on the administrator and the users. In particular, since the key insertion slot is complicated, the administrator or the parking lot user will The inconvenience of use is inexcusable, as people often have trouble deciding which slot to insert their private key into and which key switch to operate.

The contents of the key recognition signal 13a of the leaving car key obtained from the pattern recognition device 13 of No. 0 are compared with the contents X3 .
In this case, since the contents of each signal are different,
Next, the delivery cage selection device 24
An address signal 24a that instructs the address B2 of the number cage and a read signal 24b that instructs reading.
is input into the storage device 22, and the recognition signal content X 2 of the key of the car currently stored in cage No. 2 is inputted into the storage device 22.
is output as the output signal 22a. Next, the delivery cage selection device 24 uses the storage device 2 as in the case described above.
The content X 2 of the output signal 22a obtained from step 2 is compared with the content X 3 of the key recognition signal 13a of the leaving car key obtained from the pattern recognition device 13 of the operation panel 10. In this case as well, since the respective signal contents are different, the exit cage selection device 24 then sends an address signal 24a that instructs the address B3 of the third cage.
and a readout signal 24b instructing readout to the storage device 22 to output the recognition signal content X 3 of the key of the car currently stored in cage No. 3 as the output signal 22a, and the pattern recognition device 1
Confirm that the content matches the content X3 of the key recognition signal 13a of the leaving car key obtained from step 3 (if they do not match, repeat the above-mentioned operation until they match). If the signal contents match, it is known that the cage containing the car to be taken out is the cage No. 3, so in step 3, the exit cage selection device 24
is content A 3 cage signal 24e and operation command signal 2
4c to the drive device 30, and the No. 3 cage is placed at the entrance/exit. Further, in step 4, the delivery cage selection device 24 selects the cage signal 24e of content A3 .
and a count stop signal 24d are input to the counter 23 to stop counting the parking time of the car stored in the third cage. The counter 23 sends an output signal 23a to the parking fee calculation device 25 when the cage signal 24e of content A3 and the count stop signal 24d are inputted from the exit car selection device 24. In step 5, the parking fee calculation device 25 calculates the parking fee based on the relationship between the predetermined time and the fee according to the output signal 23a of the counter 23, and inputs the output signal 25a to the fee display device 15 of the operation panel 10. do. The fee display device 15 displays a predetermined parking fee based on the output signal 25a of the parking fee calculation device 25 (step 5). In step 6, the user can know the parking fee from the display on the fee display device 15, and then press the fee input slot 16.
Insert coins from. Every time a coin is inserted, a signal 16a is input from the operation panel 10 to the counter 26 in the control device 20, and the counter 26
The output signal 26a is input to the input amount display device 17 to display the input amount. In step 7, when the parking fee and the input amount match, that is, when the output signal 25a of the parking fee calculation device 25 and the output signal 26a of the counter 26 match, the determination device 27 in the control device 20 outputs the output signal 27a to the drive device ( A gate (not shown) provided at the entrance/exit of the multi-story parking system opens, allowing the car to leave the parking lot.

As can be seen from the above description, the present invention provides a well-known pattern recognition device on the operation panel to recognize the pattern of the car key inserted through a single insertion slot, thereby automatically generating signals unique to each car. This is extracted and used for car entry/exit operations and parking fee calculations, and the operation panel itself is extremely flexible regardless of the number of cages. Not only can it be simplified and users are not confused about how to operate the control panel, the administrator does not need to prepare anything such as a special key in advance, and of course it is easy to replenish paper like parking tickets.
There is no need for confirmation etc. Furthermore, since the present invention allows the user or manager to keep only the car key after the car is parked, the risk of losing or damaging the key is greatly reduced compared to the case where a dedicated key is provided and managed for each cage. It becomes less. Additionally, since it is physically impossible to enter or exit a vehicle while the car key is inserted into the insertion slot of the control panel, that is, while the parking device is being operated, an extremely safe entry/exit control device is required. Obtainable.
