By using COMS technology, it has become possible to perform constant clock operation on an LSI with extremely low current consumption. Therefore, by adding an imprint control circuit to such a clock circuit, information can be imprinted automatically without setting the date and time information to be imprinted each time.

For example, a so-called transmissive liquid crystal, in which the font portion to be photographed becomes transparent, is interposed between the film surface and a light-emitting object such as a lamp.
During the imaging time, information is imprinted by irradiating light from the light emitter onto the film surface through the transparent part of the transmissive liquid crystal, and the lighting drive signal that is exactly the same as the lighting drive signal given to the transmissive liquid crystal for imaging is transmitted. A monitor display can be performed by applying a signal to a monitor liquid crystal.

Six-digit hours and minutes are often used. In this case, it is common to display a colon symbol between the hour and minute numbers, and it is easy to understand, so the colon symbol is displayed on the monitor and the colon symbol is inserted in the photograph.

Because it is extremely slow at more than mS, the display response cannot be completed within the imaging time span of several mS.

In this figure, 1 is a photographing control circuit including a clock circuit, 2 is a liquid crystal display for monitor display, and 3 is a liquid crystal display for photographing. A drive signal line group 4 for driving character segments other than the colon on the liquid crystal display is led out from the imprint control circuit 1, and this drive signal line group 4 is connected to the liquid crystal display bodies 2 and 3.
connected to a non-colon character segment. A drive signal line 5 is led out from the projection control circuit 1 for statically driving (lighting up) the colon segment of the liquid crystal display.
is connected to the colon segment of the liquid crystal display 3 for imprinting. A drive signal line 7 is led out from the imprint control circuit 1 and is connected to the output of a blinking signal modulation circuit 6 which receives the drive signal line 5 as an input. Connected to the colon segment of 2. Further, a back electrode drive signal line 8 is led out from the projection control circuit 1, and this drive signal line 8 is connected to the back electrodes of the liquid crystal displays 2 and 3.

The signal is an information signal generated by the projection control circuit 1, and is a signal generated by the monitor liquid crystal display 2.
The segments other than the colon are driven to display them in a static state, and the liquid crystal display 3 for photographing is driven.
Drive the segments other than the colon and display them in the same way. That is, except for the colon portion, the display contents on the liquid crystal displays 2 and 3 are the same.

The same display portion as above can be correctly captured regardless of the timing of the blinking. The data imprinting method of the present invention can be used as a data bag for imprinting the date, time, or other data, or for a camera with a built-in clock that can constantly observe the time and date.
