ふとんとしては織布から成るカバー内に綿を詰
め込んだものや、高級品ではカバー内に羽毛を詰

200μ程度のものが用いられる。このPTFE多孔
質シートは水蒸気透過性と撥水性を兼備してお
り、焼成品或いは未焼成品のいずれも用いること
ができるが、機械的強度の点からは焼成品が好適

護布３としては織布、編布或いは不織布のような
通気性を有する布状物を用いており、PTFE多孔
質シート２とは点状、網目状或いは筋状等に配置
された接着剤（図示省略）により部分接着されて
いる。多孔質シート２と保護布３との接着面積
は、接着強度と水蒸気透過度のバランスの観点か

所望により上記以外の態様を採用することもでき
