These conventional futons have a problem in that they have a poor ability to release sweat emitted from the human body during sleep to the outside, so sweat gets trapped inside and the cotton and feathers tend to become damp.

In addition, when used for infants, sick people, or injured persons, there is the problem of internal contamination by waste or dirt. Furthermore, in the case of feather duvets, down proofing must be applied to the cover to prevent the feathers from protruding from the cover, which is a time-consuming process for manufacturing.

The present invention relates to a futon that solves the above-mentioned problems of the prior art, and includes a cover made of a polytetrafluoroethylene (hereinafter referred to as PTFE) porous sheet that is both water vapor permeable and water repellent, with a protective cloth arranged on at least one side. The inside is stuffed with cotton or feathers.

The PTFE porous sheet used in this invention is made by blending additives such as colorants and fillers with PTFE as desired, and by foaming or stretching the PTFE porous sheet.
It is made up of countless micropores of about 0.1 to 50μ, the porosity is usually about 50 to 90%, and the thickness is usually about 10 to 50%.
A material of about 200μ is used. This porous PTFE sheet has both water vapor permeability and water repellency, and can be used as either a fired or unfired sheet, but a fired sheet is preferred from the viewpoint of mechanical strength.

Hereinafter, examples of the present invention will be explained with reference to the drawings. In the drawing, 1 is a cover consisting of a PTFE porous sheet 2 that is both water vapor permeable and water repellent, and a breathable protective cloth 3 placed on the outer surface of the PTFE porous sheet 2.
Inside it is stuffed with cotton 4. The protective cloth 3 is made of a breathable material such as a woven cloth, a knitted cloth, or a non-woven cloth, and the PTFE porous sheet 2 is composed of adhesives arranged in dots, meshes, or stripes. Partially bonded with adhesive (not shown). The adhesion area between the porous sheet 2 and the protective cloth 3 is preferably about 20 to 80% from the viewpoint of the balance between adhesion strength and water vapor permeability.

The futon shown in the drawing uses a cover 1 consisting of a PTFE porous sheet 2 and a protective cloth 3, which are both water vapor permeable and water repellent, so that the sweat emanating from the human body is exhausted to the outside of the futon as vapor. As a result, sweat does not get trapped inside, making it comfortable to use at all times. Further, even if secretions or filth are discharged from infants or the sick or injured, these will not enter into the cover 1, and the cotton 4 can be prevented from being contaminated.

In the above example, cotton was stuffed inside the cover, but feathers can also be used in the present invention. In this case, the PTFE porous sheet has down-proofing properties, and the cover is specially coated with down-proofing. It is possible to prevent the feathers from protruding from the cover even without applying.

In addition, the PTFE porous sheet and the protective cloth can be attached and detached from each other without being glued together. In this case, if secretions or filth are discharged from infants or sick people, the protective cloth can be removed and washed. and secretions remaining on the PTFE porous sheet,
The cover can be cleaned by wiping off dirt, which is sanitary.

Furthermore, in the present invention, a cover is used in which protective cloth is placed on both sides of a PTFE porous sheet, and the cover may be stuffed with cotton or feathers. In this case, the protective cloths placed on both sides of the PTFE porous sheet are partially adhered to the porous sheets, or the protective cloths are partially adhered to the inner surface of the porous sheet, and the outer protective cloth is attached to the porous sheet. It is preferable to arrange the seat so that it can be attached to and detached from the seat.
Embodiments other than those described above may be adopted as desired.

The present invention is constructed as described above and uses a cover made of a PTFE porous sheet that is both water vapor permeable and water repellent and a protective cloth placed on one or both sides of the sheet, so that sweat does not accumulate inside the futon. Not only can it prevent internal contamination from secretions and filth even when used on infants or the injured or sick,
It has features such as being comfortable to use at all times.
