[Detailed Description of the Invention] Until now, various ideas have been proposed in which an answering machine would record the time when a message is received from outside on the same tape as the message and use it as a reference when listening later. Something is publicly known. The oldest one published in Japan is Patent Application No. 44-88910 (Patent Application No. 49-32206), and Patent Application No. 45-65127 (No. 49-32611) has been filed. A seed application has been filed. Also, the oldest foreign item that entered the Japanese Patent Office Museum is British 1280812, but this also entered the museum in 1972 (Showa 47).
), so in this sense, the above-mentioned
32206 is the earlier application. By the way, the special public service in 1977-
What is written in both 32206 and the UK is that in order to record the time signal, one does not go to the trouble of calling and recording the time signal of the telephone office;
Line 25 of column 5 to line 10 of column 6 of the statement of 32206
It suggests the use of a voice clock as written in the first line. The British one also has the fourth part of the specification.
Line 11 of the column contains the words ``the speaking clock.'' This also appears in claim 4 of the scope of claims. The specific contents of this speaking clock are not described in the specification. However, various companies in Japan have released machines that notify the clock by voice, and some of these machines have a stopwatch function and notify the elapsed time by voice every minute. However, as is already well known in conventional stopwatches such as those attached to commercially available electronic watches, there are two types of stopwatch action: a lap time mode and an integrated time mode. Although the display has changed to the display before the interruption, measurement continues, and the next time the interruption is canceled, the time elapsed during the interruption will be added to the display. However, in the cumulative time mode, the display at the time of temporary suspension is carried over to the first display at the time of canceling the suspension.

In this application, the above integrated time mode is applied to an answering machine, and the recording operation time of the receiving recording device can be notified by voice. When a user makes a call, the number of messages recorded on the receiving recording medium can be determined by the total time emitted, and the number of minutes it will take to listen to the recorded content. The aim is to provide a device that can give an idea of whether this is the case.

In FIG. 1, terminals L1 and L2 are telephone lines,
LT is a line transformer, 1 is a ringing amplifier that is set when a calling signal arrives and is reset when the reset terminal R goes to H level, and 2 is its output while the voice from the caller continues to come in. VOX circuit maintains L level and outputs H level when the caller finishes the business and hangs up, or when there is silence or when a dial tone or busy tone is sent from the office for a predetermined period of time, VOX circuit 3, 4 , 5 and 6 are amplifier circuits for recording and reproducing the response tape T-1 as a response recording medium and the reception tape T-2 as a reception recording medium, and RPH-11 and RPH-12 are the response tape T-1 as a response recording medium. RPH-21 and RPH-22 are recording and reproducing heads for the first and second tracks of the receiving tape T-2, respectively. Also, P-1
is the conductive foil attached to the starting point of T-1 above, CP-
1 is an electrode electrically connected by the above-mentioned P-1, M1 is a driving motor for the above-mentioned response tape T-1, and M2 is a driving motor for the above-mentioned receiving tape T-2.
This mechanism allows the above T-2 to normally feed while the motor M2 and the solenoid SD for pressing the pinch roller (not shown) into pressure contact with the capstan (not shown) are energized at the same time, and only the above M2 is driven. and when the SD is not energized, the above T
-2 is configured to be rewound at high speed. Reference numeral 7 designates a one-second timer whose output switches from H level to L level one second after the control signal recorded on the second track in FIG. 2 is detected and transistor Q1 is turned on. 8 is a beep tone oscillation circuit that oscillates an audible signal called a beep tone when the terminal S changes from L to H, and stops oscillating when the terminal R changes from H to L. belongs to. 9 is input from H to L
1 second timer, the output changes from H to L after 1 second, 10 is the receiving tape T-
A 4-second timer is used as a timer means to delay the operation of the receiving tape T-2 for 4 seconds after the caller finishes recording the message. Further, 11 is a first filter circuit for detecting a remote control signal f1 which is activated by the remote control and rewinds the receiving tape T-2, and 12 is a first filter circuit for releasing the remote control and stopping the running of the above-mentioned tape T-2. This is a second filter for detecting the remote control signal f2 . Also 13
is a two-shot pulse generation circuit that generates two pulses from its output when the input becomes L, and is composed of, for example, a multivibrator, a counter, and a gate. Reference numeral 14 is a voice clock, such as Sharp's CT-660 model, which notifies the accumulated time by voice. This will be reset to 00 minutes when the power is cut off.
00 seconds is displayed, and pressing button 15 once activates the audio clock, and pressing button 15 twice in succession interrupts the audio clock, and at the same time, for example, audible notification that ``1 minute and 30 seconds have passed'' is issued. In this state, if you press the push button 15 once again, the audio clock 14 will restart, and at the same time, the audio will announce "1 minute 30 seconds" as the time to restart the same time as the previous elapsed time, and then restart the measurement. The current elapsed time, for example 50 seconds, is added to the elapsed time, and when push button 15 is pressed twice, the audio clock is interrupted and at the same time the integrated elapsed time, ie 2 minutes and 20 seconds, is announced by voice. In order to reset this accumulated time, the power supply is cut off as described above. 16 is a pulse width switching circuit that switches the pulse width output from the two-shot pulse generation circuit from 0.1 seconds to 1 second. This is composed of a flip-flop, and when the output Q becomes H, Acts to increase the constant. Also IC-1, IC-6, IC-7, IC-11, IC-1
2, IC-13 is an R-S type flip-flop (hereinafter referred to as FF), IC-2, IC-9, IC-10, IC
-19, IC-20 is an analog switch,
It is well known that when control terminal 3 becomes H, terminals 1 and 2 become conductive.

Next, the effect will be specifically explained using examples. First, a case will be described in which calls are received from an unspecified number of third parties. When a call signal enters the terminals L1 and L2, it is detected by the ringing amplifier 1, and in order to keep the output at L, the load relay Y-1 is kept in the operating state, and its contact y 1-1 is connected to the line transformer LT. A loop is formed through , and the ringing signal stops. At the same time, from the above output to capacitor C
1, the set terminal S of flip-flop IC-1 is momentarily set to L, and this IC-1 is set.
The load motor M1 is energized via its output Q. Here, the motor M1 causes the response tape T-1 to run in the direction of the arrow. This response tape T-1
Assume that, as shown in FIG. 2, a response term is continuously recorded between t 0 and t 3 of the first track, and a control signal is continuously recorded between t 1 and t 3 of the second track. Therefore T
-1 starts running, the response term of the first track is reproduced from t0 by the recording/playback head RPH-11, amplified by the amplifier circuit 3, and then connected to the resistor R2 and the analog switch.
It is sent to the line via IC-2 1 and 2 and line transformer LT. Then, when the response tape T-1 continues to run and reaches the t1 point, the control signal recorded on the second track starts to be played back in the recording/playback head RPH-12, is amplified by the amplifier circuit 4, and is further amplified by the diode D1. , D2, and the capacitor C
2 to keep transistor Q1 on while the above control signal is being regenerated. First, when this Q1 is turned on, the analog switch
Lower IC-10 1 and 2 from H to L. This is because the control terminal 3 of IC-10 is at an H level due to the flip-flop IC-6, and conduction is established between 1 and 2. Here, flip-flop IC-13 is set via OR gate IC-23 1 and 3 to energize the load motor M2, and at the same time the bias applied via analog switch IC-20 1 and 2 (control terminal 3 is H). turns on transistor Q5 and turns on the load solenoid.
Energize SD. When the motor M2 and the solenoid SD are energized simultaneously in this way, the receiving tape T-2 is normally fed (recorded) as described above.
At the same time, the output of the IC-10 sets the pulse width switching circuit 16 through analog switches 1 and 2 of the analog switch IC-19, and sets the terminal 3 of the two-shot pulse generation circuit 13 to H. When terminal 3 becomes H, the timing capacitor that determines the period increases, and when terminal 1 becomes L, it outputs 2 pulses of 1 second width.
is configured to occur. Note that the pulse width switching circuit 16 has been reset, and its output Q
is L, the two-shot pulse generation circuit 13 generates two pulses each having a width of 0.1 seconds. Now, as mentioned above, when the terminal 3 of the two-shot pulse generation circuit 13 becomes H,
The two-pulse generation circuit 13 is driven through the inverter IC-18 and the OR gate IC-17, 2 and 3, and two negative pulses are generated from the output 2, and the two negative pulses are generated through the OR gate IC-14, 2 and 3. Relay Y-3 is instantaneously driven twice with an interval of 1 second, thereby closing contact y3-1 twice. On the other hand, this contact
y Before 3-1 closes for the first time, the response tape T-
The control signal recorded on the second track of 1 is
When the signal is reproduced for a second and the output of the one second timer 7 is switched from H to L, flip-flops IC-6 and IC-7 are set. Here, when IC-6 becomes L, transistor Q4 is turned off and Q3 is turned on, supplying power to the stopwatch 14. Therefore, the display shows 00 minutes 00 seconds, and in this state, even if contact y 3-1 closes for the first time as described above, the voice clock 14 will display "00 minutes 00 seconds."
Don't say "second". Next, only when the contact point y3-1 closes within 1 to 2 seconds after this, does it say "1 second has passed". The output is amplified by the amplifier circuit 6, and the contact
y 4-3 to T-2's second track recording/playback head.
It is recorded by the RPH-22 on the second track shown from t11 to t12 in FIG.

Since 2 of IC-8 is pulled up to H by the output of IC-7, 3 of IC-8 becomes H, and beep tone oscillation circuit 8 is set to oscillate an audible signal called a beep tone. This beep tone is generated by resistor R5 and analog switch IC-2.
(Control terminal 3 is H due to IC-12) and is sent to the line via line transformer LT. At the same time, this beep tone is caused by diode D3,
The voltage is doubled and rectified by D4, smoothed by capacitor C5, keeps transistor Q2 on, and starts 1-second timer 9. After one second, the output of the 1-second timer 9 changes from H to L, and this output cancels the operation of the beep tone oscillation circuit 8, which stops sending out the beep tone, and the device alerts the caller to the caller. Notifies you that the state has changed to recording messages from. At the same time, the flip-flop IC-12 is set by the output of the 1-second timer 9, and when its output changes from H to L, this IC-2 is turned off via the AND gate IC-22 and the control terminal 3 of the analog switch IC-2. and cut off the output from the amplifier circuit 3. Next, the message from the caller is transferred to the receiving tape T- through the line transformer LT, contact Y4-1 , amplifier circuit 5, contact Y4-2 , and recording/playback head RPH-21.
recorded on the first track of 2. This recording time is controlled by the VOX circuit 2. That is,
When the caller is finished and hangs up, the device either goes silent or the station sends a dial tone or busy tone. When this state continues for several seconds, the output of the VOX circuit 2 changes from L to H, which resets the ringing amplifier 1 and opens the loop.
At the same time, inverter IC-3, or gate IC-
The flip-flop IC-7 is reset through the circuits 1 and 4 of 4, the flip-flop IC-12 and the pulse width switching circuit 16 are reset through the IC-3, and the 4-second timer 10 and the IC-17 are reset.
The two-shot pulse generating circuit 13 is activated via the signals 1 and 3, and the cumulative time is recorded as follows. That is, 2
When two pulses are generated from the pulse generation circuit 13, they are switched to the pulse width switching circuit 16 as described above.
Since it has been reset, there will be two pulses with an interval of 0.1 seconds. Relay Y-3 is driven twice through OR gate IC-14 2 and 3, and its contact y3-1 is closed twice. When contact y 3-1 is closed twice in a short period of time in this way, the Sharp CT-660 used in this device
The machine pauses at that cumulative time, and then utters, for example, "1 minute and 15 seconds have passed," which is transmitted to the second track of the receiving tape T-2 via the amplifier circuit 6 and the recording/playback head RPH-22. (t 13 −t 14 in Figure 3
recorded during). The recording of this cumulative time ends within 4 seconds, and at this point the output of the 4-second timer 10 changes from H to L, and the 2,
3, the flip-flop IC-13 is reset, and as is clear from the foregoing, the motor M2 and solenoid SD are restored, and the running of the receiving tape T-2 is stopped. Since the loop has already been opened as described above, the device now returns to a complete standby state. Note that the response tape T-1 runs on its own even while the reception tape T-2 is being recorded, and after making one circuit, the conductor foil P-1 attached to the starting point short-circuits the electrode CP-1, thereby resetting the flip-flop IC-1. This causes the motor M1 to be de-energized, thereby stopping the running of T-1.

To summarize the above-mentioned operation, a loop is formed by the incoming call, the response tape T-1 starts running, the response term is played from the first track t0 in FIG.
The control signal for the second track is regenerated from t1 . When this control signal is reproduced, the receiving tape T-2 immediately starts running in a recording state, and at the same time the pulse width switching circuit 16 is set, and subsequently the two-shot pulse generating circuit 13 is driven. On the other hand, when the above control signal is reproduced for one second, the flip-flop IC-6 is set via the one-second timer 7, and its output supplies power to the audio clock 14. In this power-supplied state, the display will display 00 minutes 00 seconds. Immediately after power is supplied to the audio clock 14 in this way, the first pulse is generated from the two-shot pulse generation circuit 13, and this pulse drives relay Y-3, which momentarily closes its contact Y3-1. . However, for the first 0 seconds, the audio clock 14 does not generate any sound, and when contact Y 3-1 closes due to the second pulse 1 second later, it utters "1 second has passed" for the first time. T
Record on the second track of -2. Next, when the reproduction of the control signal described above is completed, the beep tone oscillator circuit 8 operates and sends a beep tone to the caller, and from t 4 (which coincides in timing with t 12 in FIG. 3) when this beep tone ends, The message from the caller is recorded between t12 and t13 on the first track of the receiving tape T-2, and at t13 , when the VOX circuit 2 is cut off, the loop is opened and at the same time the pulse width switching circuit is reset. The emitting pulse generating circuit 13 drives the relay Y-3 twice at 0.1 second intervals, closes its contact Y3-1 twice to temporarily stop the cumulative time of the audio clock 14, and at the same time makes a sound. t 13 ~ in Figure 3.
Recording is performed on the second track by the 4-second timer 10 during t14 , and the system is restored to a complete standby state at t14 .

Next, the operation when a second call is received from a third party will be described. The difference from the first call reception is that the flip-flop IC-6 is not reset and is kept in the set state. Therefore, when the call arrives, the response tape T-1 is played as described above, and at t1 in FIG.
The track control signal is regenerated, and while it is being regenerated, transistor Q1 is turned on, and the above control signal is transmitted through Q1 to AND gate IC-15 1, 3 and NOR gate IC-14 1, 3. Relay Y-3 is held in operation while is being played. This is the flip-flop IC-6 mentioned above.
has already been set and the analog switch IC-19
This is because the pulse width switching circuit 16 cannot be set via the pulse width switching circuit 16. Now, when the contact point y3-1 closes, the audio clock 14 is activated as described above, and the time at the time of activation is uttered. 1 for the first call
Since it was paused at 1 minute and 15 seconds, this time it was set to 1 minute and 15 seconds.
Say "Second". However, at the end of the previous message (between t 13 and t 14 in Figure 3), it was recorded that ``1 minute and 15 seconds have passed,'' so the above audio ``1 minute and 15 seconds'' is meaningless even if recorded. Therefore, this “1 minute
15 seconds" is configured so that it is not recorded. That is, while the above control signal is being reproduced, the transistor Q1 is turned on, pulling the input terminal 1 of the analog switch IC-10 from H to L. However, the difference from the first call reception is that flip-flop IC-6 is set at this time, and since it is L, control terminal 3 of IC-10 is L, and IC-10's 1,
2 is off, and 2 of IC-10 remains high and does not change. Therefore, the set terminal S of flip-flop IC-13 does not become L through IC-23 1 and 3, and this IC-10 13 is not set. This control signal is regenerated for about 5 seconds, and when the regeneration of this control signal ends at t 3 , as described above,
Flip-flop IC-7 has already been set at t 2 , and in order to pull 2 of AND gate IC-8 to H, transistor Q1 is turned off after t 3 , and 1 of IC-8 is turned off via 1-second timer 7. When pulled up to H, IC-8 3 becomes H, and as mentioned above, the beep tone oscillation circuit 8 is set to send a beep tone to the line, and at the same time, as mentioned above, this beep tone is sent to the diode D3,
After rectification by D4 and turning on transistor Q2, the 1 second timer 9 resets the beep tone oscillator circuit 8 after 1 second, and at the same time the analog switch is turned on.
Pull input terminal 1 of IC-9 from H to L.
Here, since the output Q of the IC-6 is H, the above
Control terminal 3 of IC-9 is H, IC-9
9 is conductive between 1 and 2, flip-flop IC-
The set terminal S of IC-13 is set to L, and this IC-13 is set. As mentioned above, when this IC-13 is set, the receiving tape T-2 starts running in the recording state. Therefore, when the first call arrives, the audio clock 14 starts after the receiving tape T-2 starts running in the recording state at t1 in FIG. 2 , whereas when the second and subsequent calls arrive, The voice clock 14 starts at t 1 , but since T-2 starts running at t 4 , the previous cumulative time of utterance between t 1 and t 3 is T.
-2 is not recorded. And in Figure 3
Between t14 and t15 , a message from the caller is recorded, and between t15 and t16 , the total cumulative time of the first and second calls is recorded as voice. Then, at t16 , the device returns to the standby state.

When the device is called and a response word is heard, the remote control signal f1 is sent. This remote control signal f1 sets the flip-flop IC-11 through the line transformer LT and the first filter 11 to keep the load relay Y-4 in the operating state, and its contacts y4-1 ,
Switch y 4-2 , y 4-3 , y 4-4 to the make side. Therefore, the recording/reproducing heads RPH-21 and RPH-22 for the first and second tracks of the receiving tape T-2 are connected in parallel and connected to the input side of the amplifier circuit 5. Further, the output of the amplifier circuit 5 is connected to the line transformer LT. Furthermore, the flip-flop IC-6 is held in a reset state by the output of the IC-11 through OR gates 1 and 3 of the OR gate IC-5, and the audio clock 14 is reset by turning on the transistor Q4 and turning off the transistor Q3. this is,
When you receive a call from a third party after this remote listening,
This is to start the stopwatch from 0 seconds, but if it is desired to record the accumulated time cumulatively even after this remote listening, this reset is omitted. At the same time, the flip-flop IC-7 is held in a reset state via OR gates 3 and 4 of the OR gate IC-4, and the response tape T-7 to be played thereafter is held.
Even if the control signal recorded on the second track of 1 is played back, the IC-7 is not set. Therefore, the circuit activated by IC-7 described above will not operate. When IC-11 is set at the same time, its output and AND gate IC-11 are set.
22, the analog switch IC-2 is turned off, and the response words recorded on the first track of the response tape T-1 are no longer transmitted to the line. In addition, the output of the above IC-11, or gate IC-23
Flip-flop IC-13 is set via 2 and 3 of 2 and 3 to drive the load motor M2. Also
Analog switch IC-
1 of 20 is pulled up to H, but while the remote control signal f1 is being input, the control terminal 3 of the IC-20 becomes L via the first filter 11 and the inverter IC-21, and this IC-20 is off, no bias is applied to the base of transistor Q5, and Q5 and solenoid SD are off.
As mentioned above, motor M2 is on, solenoid SD
is off, the receiving tape T-2 is rewound. That is, T-2 is rewound while transmitting the remote control signal f1 . Therefore, it can be confirmed that the remote control has been damaged by the interruption of the playback sound of the above-mentioned response term, so if the remote control signal f1 is cut off within 1 second, the receiving tape T-2 in Fig. 3 is confirmed. The section from t 15 to t 16 can be completely rewound. As mentioned above, the last integrated time is recorded in this section, and when the remote control signal f1 is turned off, the analog switch IC-2
0 is turned on, Q5 is turned on, solenoid SD is turned on, and the above cumulative time is first regenerated. This tells the owner how long it will take to hear the recorded message. The owner can then send the remote control signal f1 again to rewind to the starting point and then play back T-2 for remote listening. At the starting point, you can hear the playback sound of "1 second has passed" and also hear the cumulative time accumulated for each message. When you listen again to the accumulated time that you first heard, it means that you have heard all the messages, so when you send out the remote control signal f2 , it passes through the second filter 12 to the flip-flop IC.
-11 to cancel the regeneration circuit of T-2, and at the same time connect IC-1 via IC-24 and IC-16.
3 to stop running T-2, and at the same time reset the ringing amplifier 1 to open the loop and restore the standby state. The next time a call is received from a third party, it will be recorded starting from the cumulative time of 1 second. Note that the response tape T-1 runs by itself during remote listening and stops at the starting point. In addition, in this embodiment, in order to know the final cumulative time, by sending the remote control signal f1 for about 1 second, the receiving tape T-2 is rewound a small amount and then played back to hear the final cumulative time. Although the remote control signal f1 is continuously sent and rewound to the starting point, it is also possible to configure the system to automatically reproduce this as described below. That is, when the first remote control signal f1 is sent, the first timer circuit operates and rewinds the elapsed time recorded at the end of T-2, and when this rewinding is completed, the second timer circuit operates. , this section is played back, and when this playback is finished, the flip-flop holds, for example, T.
-2 to the starting point, and when it is rewound to the starting point,
It is configured to detect this with a rotary switch or the like and switch to playback.

In particular, the audio clock is reset when remote control is performed, so if you return the receiving recording to the starting point after remote listening and put it in standby mode, the next time you remotely listen, it will always return to the starting point of the receiving recording. Since it is possible to listen to the recording operation time, that is, the time required to listen to the content recorded on the receiving recording medium, the present invention allows the user to return the receiving recording medium to the starting point after remote listening. , is ideal for use in methods that do not leave any recorded content.
