の裏側で略逆ハツト形断面形状とすると共に、前
記枠部材を前記ピラー上部の上に重ね合わせて溶
着し、且つ、ウインドシールドガラス側のフラン
ジで前記ルーフパネルの端部と重ね合わせて溶着
してなる自動車のピラー上部構造において、前記
枠部材とピラー上部に逆ハツト形断面におけるル
ーフパネル中央側のフランジと前記ルーフパネル
裏面との隙間を、該フランジ溶接のための溶接ガ
ン挿入可能な程度とすると共に、前記ウインドシ
ールドガラス側のフランジ及びルーフパネル中央
側のフランジ重ね合わせて溶着されるフランジを
備えた略ハツト形断面の補強材を設けて、前記枠
部材との間に閉断面を形成したことを特徴とする
