デフオツガ作動スイツチ2のスイツチノブ11を
配設したベースプレート10に作動表示部12と
夜間照明部13とを設けて形成した作動表示装置
の前記作動表示部12と夜間照明部13との中間
部に配設してあつて、リヤデフオツガ装置1のオ
ン作動と同時に点灯して作動表示部12と夜間照
明部13とを照明する。この表示ランプ3を点灯
する作動表示回路は、後述するライトスイツチ4
をオン操作した時にリヤデフオツガ装置1へ電流
が流れるのを阻止するダイオード8を備えてい
る。そして、ライトスイツチ4のオン操作により
車幅灯5を点灯する車幅灯作動回路と前記作動表
示回路とを、ライトスイツチ4をオン操作して車
幅灯5を点灯した時にも前記表示ランプ3を減光
して点灯する減光回路で接続してある。この減光
回路は、ライトスイツチ4による表示ランプ3の
点灯時に電圧をドロツプさせて表示ランプ3の照
度レベルが前記リヤデフオツガ作動スイツチ2の
オン操作による時よりも低くなるようにして照度
レベルに変化をもたせる抵抗6と、リヤデフオツ
ガ作動スイツチ2をオン操作した時に車幅灯5に
電流が流れるのを阻止するダイオード7とを備え

ンプ3の点灯により作動表示部12、夜間照明部
13を照明してリヤデフオツガ装置1が作動して
いることを視認できる。次に、夜間、リヤデフオ
ツガ作動スイツチ2をオフにしている状態でライ
トスイツチ4をオン操作して車幅灯5を点灯する
と、表示ランプ3も点灯するが、この場合抵抗6
により電圧ドロツプされるため、該表示ランプ3
の照度レベルは低く、この結果、作動表示部12
並びに夜間照明部13をベースプレート10上の
スイツチノブ11を視認できる程度に薄らと照明
し、スイツチノブ11の位置確認を容易に行うこ
とができる。また、ライトスイツチ4をオン操作
してある状態で、リヤデフオツガ作動スイツチ2
をオンにすると、抵抗6を通過しないので作動表
示部12、夜間照明部13は照度レベルが変化し
て明るく点灯し作動の確認ができる。尚、前述の
作動表示部12、夜間照明部13をカラー偏光板
等を用いて色に変化をもたせることにより、一層

ニツトを大型化することもなく、しかも、ダイオ
ードは小型、安価、長寿命、強耐振性および低消
費電力といつた特性を備えているので、軽量、耐
振性、省エネルギが要求される車両用リヤデフオ

を阻止するダイオードを備えている一方、減光回
路は抵抗と、リヤデフオツガ作動スイツチのオン
操作時に車幅灯への電流の流れを阻止するダイオ
ードとを備えてなる車両用リヤデフオツガのスイ
