FIG. 1 shows the rotor of a conventional blood component collection device.
When the fixed head 7 is fixed and the rotor R is rotated and blood is pumped from the connector 4, the blood is discharged from the center nozzle 5 and separated into blood cells 15 and blood plasma 14, and the blood blood is removed from the blood plasma extraction nozzle 13,
The blood is taken out of the rotor R via the connector 6. When the blood cell level reaches 11, when the rotation of the rotor R is stopped, the blood cell level becomes 12. In this state, blood cells 1 are passed through the center nozzle 5 and the connector 4.
When blood cells 5 are sucked up, as shown in FIG. 2, blood cells 15 remain in a donut shape between the core 2 and the base 3, making it impossible to suck them all up. The amount remaining is about 22% of the total blood cell volume, so this must be kept below 10%. (Since these blood cells are returned to the human body, the remaining amount is preferably 0%.) In Figure 1,
1 is a rotor body, 8 is a rotating seal portion, 9 is a blood collection reservoir, and 10 is a center nozzle hole.

In this invention, by making the diameter of the center nozzle hole in the core smaller than the diameter of the blood collection reservoir provided in the base, blood can be guided to the blood collection reservoir without being affected by surface tension. This is what I did.

In FIG. 3, the inner diameter of the center nozzle hole 10 is smaller than the inner diameter of the blood collection reservoir 9. With this configuration, when blood cells 15 are sucked up by the nozzle 5, the influence of surface tension is reduced, and more blood cells 15 can be guided to the blood collection reservoir 9.

In FIGS. 1 to 3, a rotor body 1 has a cylindrical shape, and is fixed to a circular base 3 at its lower end. And center nozzle hole 10 of core 2
penetrates vertically, and the blood collection reservoir 9 has a concave shape and is located below the center nozzle hole 10.

According to the present invention, the amount of remaining blood cells can be reduced, and precious blood cells can be returned to the human body without waste.
