When a composite container containing currently commercially available alcoholic beverages such as beer or soft drinks is cooled by immersing it in cooling water, the bottle body and upper member, or
Cooling water does not immediately enter the space between the bottle body and the lower part, so it floats up when lying on its side.
If cooling water first enters the space between the bottle body and the upper member, the bottle will float with the bottom up. Eventually, the container ends up falling on its side or upside down, sinking to the bottom, or floating with most of the container submerged in water. If the container is placed in cooling water in this condition, it will not only look very unsightly, but the opening of the container and the area around its outlet will be contaminated with cooling water, so be sure to clean the cooling water etc. when opening the contents. It was necessary to wipe it off.

In order to solve these problems, the inventors of the present invention have proposed a container consisting of at least a bottle body and an upper member attached to the shoulder of the bottle body and having a hole in the center that can pass through the cap. The inside of the upper member is filled with synthetic resin closed cell foam, and the lower part of the bottle body is not provided with a lower member, or even if it is provided, water easily enters the inside of the lower member. We propose an upright floating container characterized by having a structure that allows water to flow out.

However, in the case of an upright floating container having a lower member, it is necessary to have a structure that allows water to easily enter and flow out of the space between the bottle body and the lower member. The most common structure in this case is one in which cooling water inlet holes are provided at the bottom of the lower member and air outlet holes are provided at the top of the side wall. Furthermore, in order to facilitate the inflow and discharge of cooling water, the bottom and part of the side walls of the lower member may be shaped into a grid or a net.

The upright floating container according to the present invention has the structure and function as described above, and when immersed in cooling water etc.,
Cooling water etc. do not enter the synthetic resin closed cell inside the upper member, and the buoyancy of the upper member is maintained.
Since the container can be suspended upright in cooling water, etc., it can be stored neatly in the cooling water tank, preventing the mouth of the container from becoming contaminated with cooling water or entering the upper part when pouring the contents. This solves problems such as the coolant water flowing out together with the coolant.
The cooling rate of the bottle body can be increased.
