Claims (1)
- 燃焼室の吸気弁上流側に接続され前記燃焼室内
に流入される空気をスワール流とする主ポートと
主ポートの終端部近くに角度をもつて接続された
副ポートからなる可変スワール吸気系を有する可
変スワール機構において、前記可変スワール吸気
系における前記副ポートに連通する副空気通路に
配設されこの副空気通路の軸方向に直角な軸回り
に回動することにより副ポートを流れる空気量を
変えて前記燃焼室内のスワール流のスワール比を
変える弁機構と、圧力調整器を介して供給される
圧縮空気の圧力によりピストンロツドの突出量が
変化するエアシリンダと、ピストンロツドの直線
運動を回動運動に変換して弁機構を回動する動力
伝達手段と、エンジンの負荷、回転数等に基づい
てスワール比を選択し圧力調整器を制御してエア
シリンダのピストンロツドの突出量を調整するこ
とにより弁機構を操作する制御系とを有すること
を特徴とする可変スワール機構。
