DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to improvements in ventilation systems for automobiles.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, when a car is parked under the scorching summer sun, the inside of the car gets quite hot, which has an adverse effect on articles installed inside the car. Therefore, attempts have been made to lower the temperature inside the vehicle by forcibly ventilating the interior of the vehicle by driving a fan, etc., but this increases the cost of installing the fan and has many problems such as securing a power source. The dot was hot. Furthermore, it has been considered to use solar cells, etc., but this also has the disadvantage of being extremely costly.

This invention was devised with the aim of eliminating the above-mentioned problems, and uses solar heat to generate natural convection and ventilate the interior of the vehicle by discharging the air from the interior to the outside of the vehicle. It is characterized by:

以下、本考案の一実施例を第1図乃至第3図に

In FIG. 1, reference numeral 4 denotes a ventilation system attached to the quarter panel portion of the side wall of the automobile 2. As shown in FIG. 2, the ventilation system 4 is provided with a ventilation duct 6 extending in the vertical direction. An upper opening 8 and a lower opening 10 are formed above and below the ventilation duct 6, respectively. Further, the interior side 12 and the ventilation duct 6 are defined as the interior side opening 1 formed between the upper opening 8 and the lower opening 10.

Further, the upper side 16 of the outer wall of the ventilation duct 6 is made of a solar heat non-absorbing plate that is treated with a brightening treatment to make it difficult to absorb solar heat, and the lower side 18 of the outer wall of the ventilation duct 6 is made of a solar heat non-absorbing plate that is treated with a brightening treatment to make it difficult to absorb solar heat. It consists of a solar heat absorbing plate that has been painted with a matte black coating for ease of use.

According to the above configuration, when the car 2 is parked under the scorching sun for a long time, the lower part 18 of the outer wall of the ventilation duct 6 is made of a solar heat absorbing plate, so that the air in the lower part of the ventilation duct 6 is removed. The temperature will rise due to solar heat. In addition, since the upper part 16 of the outer wall of the ventilation duct 6 is made of a solar heat non-absorbing plate, the temperature of the air in the upper part of the ventilation duct 6 does not rise as much as in the lower part, and the temperature of the air in the upper part of the ventilation duct 6 does not rise as much as in the lower part.
This results in a difference in the temperature of the air within the room. here,
The warmed air in the lower part of the ventilation duct 6 flows upward in the duct 6, and natural convection occurs as shown by arrow A in FIG.

Due to this natural convection A, the air in the vehicle interior 12 is blown out from the interior side opening 14, creating an air flow B.
The vehicle interior is ventilated.

Therefore, even if the car is parked in the hot sun for a long time, the natural convection that occurs inside the ventilation duct 6 will
It is extremely easy to ventilate the interior of the vehicle.
This has the effect of suppressing the temperature rise in the vehicle interior.

Also, while driving, as shown in Figure 3,
Since the vicinity of the openings 8 and 10 is under negative pressure, an air flow C is generated, and air is sucked out of the vehicle interior through the interior side opening 14, which facilitates ventilation of the vehicle interior. It is something to play.

Furthermore, as clearly shown in the perspective view of FIG. 1, since the brightly treated portions and openings are formed in the shape of a strip in the quarter panel portion, an aesthetically pleasing effect is also produced.

As a second embodiment of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 4, a heat insulating layer 20 is formed inside the outer wall of the upper side 16 of the ventilation duct 6 to create a temperature difference in the air inside the duct. This makes it possible to obtain the same effects as in the first embodiment.

In the above embodiment, the ventilation system is attached to the quarter panel, but if the ventilation system is installed vertically on the outer wall of the vehicle, it can be attached to the rear panel, side panel, etc. Also, the same effects as in the above embodiment can be obtained.

Note that the upper opening 8 shown in the first embodiment above
It is also possible to appropriately provide a drain plate or the like in the lower opening 10 in order to prevent rainwater from entering. Furthermore, it is also possible to attach a drain plate or the like to the opening 14 in the vehicle interior to prevent water from entering the vehicle interior 12 from outside the vehicle.
