Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、おむつ、衛生ナプキンの様な使い捨
て製品とその製造方法とに関する。
吸収パツドを備えたおなつ、衛生ナプキンない
しそれらの類似の使い捨て製品には多数の特許が
存在する。吸収コア開発分野では多くの活動がな
されている。従来、該コアは相当量の排液を受け
入れるのに充分に吸収性であるか、流動体溢出を
処理し、それにより漏れを防止する能力はなかつ
た。後者は、急速に排出される流動体を急速に受
け入れることができなかつたことによる。或は、
噴出流動体を受け入れる時に漏れを防止できる従
来のおむつ、衛生ナプキンのコアは、全実用期間
にわたつては全量の流動体を吸収することはでき
なかつた。これは、溢出処理手段のために全流動
体吸収能力が低下したためである。
アメリカ特許2896627号公報に示されているコ
アの中心の長手方向波形紙の様な様々な手段が、
コアにおける流動体の吸収、移動、分布に使用さ
れている。アメリカ特許3593717；3403689；
3046986；3749627号公報に示されている様にくぼ
みと溜めがコアに形成されている。アメリカ特許
3666611号公報には、中央に被圧縮部分を有する
パルプ層が開示されている。アメリカ特許
2952260号公報に開示されている如く、型押、折
重ねを使つて吸収量を増大させている。アメリカ
特許3291131号公報に開示されている様に、衛生
パツド、おむつはフレキシブルコンベアで製造さ
れている。フレキシブルコンベアで吸収バツドを
製造する方法の他関連特許はアメリカ特許
2973760；3268954；2872023；3225898；
3439795；3203419号である。
本発明は、おむつ、衛生ナプキンないし類似使
捨て製品用の吸収バツドを製造する方法を提供す
ることにより先行技術の欠点を解消している。本
発明により新規パツドの形成が簡単になり、その
製造中の使い捨て製品の全吸収能と流動体溢出処
理能との両者の低下が防止され、これにより、噴
出流動体に耐えかつ全吸収能が非状に高い使い捨
て製品が得られる。
本発明の実施においては、２つの羽毛化パルプ
層をフレキシブルコンベア上に供給して２層波形
テイツシユをその間にサンドイツチする。更に、
羽毛化パルプ層のうちの１つを型押して一定間隔
くぼみを形成し、これらくぼみの上に実質上の被
圧縮部分を備えることによりパツドは形成され
る。上部と下部の２層詰綿が羽毛化パルプ層の下
と上に配置される。ポリエチレン又は類似流動体
不浸透材のシートで上部羽毛化パルプ層を包み、
上部詰綿は、その縁が下部詰綿の縁部分上に置か
れかつそれに接着固定される様に伸長している。
詰綿の端をクリンプし、得られた集成体を下織材
シートで包み、感圧接着材（使用中の使い捨て製
品を固定する手段としても役立つ）で固定する。
剥離紙（例えばシリコーン処理したもの）を接着
材上に適用して使用前の保護をする。
それゆえ、本発明の目的は、相互に連通してい
てもよい一定間隔くぼみを有する使い捨て製品を
提供することである。該くぼみは、その下の材料
部分が高度に圧縮される様に型押することにより
形成される。噴出廃流動体がそのくぼみに容易に
受け入れられるが、被圧縮部分により流動体がそ
の被圧縮部から噴出するのが妨げられ、廃流動体
分布がよくなる。このため、型押しをして、被圧
縮部分を有するくぼみをつくるのである。また、
本発明では羽毛化パルプ層を２層としていて着帯
者に接する羽毛化パルプ層にくぼみを設けたこと
によりさらに廃流動体分布を向上させている。
添付図面において、１０は吸収コア１２を有す
る衛生ナプキンの形をした使い捨て製品をさす。
本発明は使い捨ておむつないしその類似製品にも
均等に応用できる。吸収コア１２は羽毛化パルプ
でできた上層１４と、その部分（全てではない）
を貫通しているくぼみ１８を有する、羽毛化パル
プでできた下層１６とを有する。くぼみ１８は着
帯者に面する様に配置されている。くぼみ１８は
下層１６の厚さの約4/5に達している。くぼみ１
８は、その下の材料１９を圧縮するのに役立つホ
ツト又は常温型押により形成される。第５，７図
に示される如く溝２１をくぼみ１８に連続させて
もよい。これら溝はくぼみで分断されたラインを
形成する。溝２１はくぼみ１８程に深くない。別
法として、直線溝２３、横溝２５、対角溝２７，
２９を各くぼみ（全て隣接くぼみ）に連続させて
もよい。これら溝をくぼみと同一の深さにして最
適流動体分布を提供することができる。
２層波形テイツシユシート２０を羽毛化パルプ
層１４，１６の間にはさむ。層１６の下に２層詰
綿２２があり、上部２層詰綿２４が羽毛化パルプ
層１４の上面上に置かれる。ポリエチレンの様な
水不浸透性のシート２６を詰綿２４上に置き、コ
ア１２を囲み、フランジ部分３０，３２上に備え
られた接着材ないしグルー２８で下部詰綿２２の
縁に固定する。フランジ部分はくぼみ１８の下に
は達していない。下部詰綿２２上に置かれた不織
材シート３４を上部詰綿２４と水不浸透シート２
６の上に重ねてそれらを包み、その縁を感圧接着
材３６で固定できる。シリコーン剥離紙片３８に
感圧接着材４０を備え、不織シート３４に重ねて
固定する。詰綿層２４，２２の端と不織シート３
４の端を例えば４２で一緒にロールクリンプす
る。くぼみ１８と溝２１又は２３とが噴出流動体
処理手段であり、波形テイツシユ２０（全長にわ
たつて波形である）が吸収パルプ層１６から吸収
性羽毛化パルプ層１４への流動体分布手段であ
る。くぼみと溝の下の被圧縮部分１９により波形
テイツシユ２０からの溢出が防止される。不織シ
ート３４が乾燥接触面となり、水不浸透シート２
６が漏れを防ぐ。
本発明の衛生ナプキンは２枚の羽毛化パルプシ
ート（一方を他方の上に重ね、その間に波形２層
テイツシユ２０をはさむ）を使つてエンドレスベ
ルトコンベアで製造する。羽毛化パルプでできた
下層にはくぼみを形成する。吸収コアを下部詰綿
２２（２層であり、吸収コアを長手方向に囲んで
折重ねる）上に置き、上部詰綿２４を頭部に置
き、上部と下部の詰綿を一緒にロールクリングす
る。得られた集成品をダイ造形し、切断し、90゜
回転させて、ポリエチレンシート２６を頭部と交
差して供給し、折重ね、そのグルー線により下部
詰綿２２に結合させることができる。その後にナ
プキンを不織シート３４で包み、その縁を接着材
（パツドを使用していない時には封止目的でその
上にシリコーン剥離紙を保持するのにも役立つ）
で固定する。

    れた波形テイツシユを有する吸収コア； 該吸収コアの上および下の上部詰綿層と下部詰
    綿層； 該上部詰綿層と該吸収コアとを包み、かつその
    縁が該下部詰綿層に結合している流動体不浸透シ
    ート； 該上部および下部詰綿、該吸収コア、該流動体
    不浸透シートを包む不織シート材； からなり、 該下部羽毛化パルプ層は着帯者に面し、かつ型
    押くぼみを備えており； 該くぼみの上の該下部羽毛化パルプ層部分は高
    度に圧縮されており； 該くぼみが該下部羽毛化パルプ層の厚さの4/5
    付近に達している； 衛生パツド。 ２ 該下部羽毛化パルプ層に該くぼみと連続して
    いる溝を有する、特許請求の範囲第１項記載の衛
    生パツド。 ３ 該溝が該くぼみと同一の深さである、特許請
