ンシヨメータ等の可変抵抗器の改良に関する。

抵抗値を調整するものが大部分であつた。そのた
め摺動子が回転子と共に連動するので単回転方式
となり抵抗値の微調整が困難であつた。また抵抗
体と摺動子との接触摩擦による上記両者の摩耗の
ため回転回数の増大に伴ない、抵抗値の変化やノ
イズ等が増大し易くなり装置の寿命や信頼に多大
な悪影響を及ぼしていた。

導電性エラストマーが抵抗体表面を回転子の回転
運動によつて圧接転動するように、回転子の突起
部のまわりに輪形の溝部を設けたことを特徴とす
る可変抵抗器が得られる。さらには、絶縁性基板
の抵抗体および上記回転子の溝部をそれぞれうず
巻状にしたことを特徴とする可変抵抗器をも得ら
れる。

摺動することができる。また、ベース1と回転子
4との中間には、溝部4bによつて抵抗体3の表
面上を圧接しかつ回転子4の回転運動によつて抵
抗体3の表面上を回転移動する導電性シリコンゴ
ム等の球状導電体5(以下導電体5と略称)を設
置してある。但し導電体5の回転移動はベース1
の1部に設けたストツパー1aによつて停止す
る。
