弾性を有する摺動子を上部から圧接し摺動させて
抵抗値調整するものが大部分であつた。そのため
摺動子が回転子と共に連動するので単回転方式と
なり抵抗値の微調整が困難であつた。また抵抗体
と摺動子との接触摩擦による前記両者の摩耗のた
め回転回数の増大に伴ない抵抗値の変化やノイズ
等が増大しやすくなり装置の寿命や信頼性に多大
な悪影響を及ぼしていた。

ル等からなる回転子7と、Oリング8、外装ケー
ス9の各部品から成る。絶縁基板4の一部に切り
欠き部4aを設け、集電電極部のリングの一部を
切除した開口部5aを設け、ベース2の円形状溝
部2aに設けた突設部2bとそれぞれ合致するよ
うに円形状溝部2a内に絶縁基板4aおよび集電
電極部5aを収納する。第2図に示すように球状
導電体6を絶縁基板4表面の周縁部に被着形成し
た抵抗体3と集電電極部5の両者に同時接触する
ように設置し、かつ回転子7の底縁部に設けた断
面円弧状の段差部7aによつて加圧され集電電極
部5および抵抗体3上を回転子7の回転運動によ
つて転動する。回転子7下面中央には凸状の突起
部7bが設けてあり、絶縁基板4中央の孔部4b
およびベース2の凹状穴部2cと圧接合致し回転
軸を常に一定に保持している。また第3図に示す
ように抵抗体3の両端の電極3a,3bおよび集
電電極体5の一端からは導電性接着剤等で接続さ
れたリード端子1a,1b,1cがそれぞれ外部
へ延長している。回転子7はOリング8を介して
外装ケース9に収納されており、ベース2と外装
ケース9との接触部は、接着剤等10で接続固定
される(第4図)。
