Description
【発明の詳細な説明】
本発明は時計用文字板に関するものである。
従来の文字板はベースに模様を付けて透明塗料
又は艶消塗料を塗装を施したもの、あるいは単色
の塗装を施したものが一般的であつた。

本考案は二色以上の塗料の組合せにより、時計
用文字板のデザインバラエテイーの拡大を目的と
したものである。

以下、本発明の実施例を図面に基づき説明す

文字板ベース１にエツチング又は機械的カツト
により、深さ50〜100μ程度の模様又は時刻表示
目盛の凹溝を設け、溝部に装飾とレジストを兼ね
た塗料２を埋め込み、ベース金属面の表面が現わ
れるまでラツピングを施す。（第１図） 第２図は本考案の二色文字板の断面図であり、
第１図のラツピングにより現われた金属面を塗料
２をレジストとして塗料２により浅めにエツチン
グを施し、そのエツチング溝に異色の塗料３を埋
め込み、同様に塗料２，３の両者の表面が平らに
なるまでラツピングを施し、仕上げとする。

前記の実施例は、本考案の一例であり、第１図
のラツピング終了後に第３図に示すようなレジス
トインク４により模様等をマスキングし、さらに
一段、塗料２より浅めのエツチング溝５を設け、
塗料２同様、レジストを兼ねた異色の塗料を埋め
込み、同様にラツピングを施し、残された金属面
を前記の実施例同様に先のエツチング深さより浅
めにエツチングを施し、さらに異色の塗料を埋め
込み、ラツピングを施すことにより、３色の塗料
の組合せによる文字板となる。以下、マスキン
グ、エツチング、塗料埋め込み、ラツピングを繰
り返すことにより、多色の塗料の組合せからなる
文字板が得られる。

グ、エツチング、塗料埋め込み、ラツピングを繰
り返すことにより、多色の塗料の組合せからなる
文字板が得られる。
以上述べた本発明は従来にない新しいバラエテ
イーに富んだデザインの文字板を得ることが出来
る有用な発明である。

Claims (1)
- １ ベース金属面にカツト又はエツチングによ
り、模様又は時刻表示目盛の溝を設ける工程、前
記溝にレジストを兼ねた塗料を埋め込む工程、こ
の塗料と前記ベース金属面が表面に現われるまで
ラツピングを施す工程、この現われたベース金属
面にエツチングを施して溝部を設け、この溝部に
前記レジストを兼ねた塗料とは異色の塗料を埋め
込む工程、前記レジストを兼ねた塗料と異色の塗
料の表面が平らになるまでラツピングする工程を
有する時計用文字板の製造方法。
