第２の実施例に係る内燃機関用ピストンの縦断面
図である。 なお図面に用いた符号において、１０……ピス
トン上部（セラミツク体）、１１……ピストン下
部、１２，１４……ウイスカ、１６……ボルト、
２８……結合用突部、２９……アンダカツト部で
ある。
用ピストンの縦断面図、第２図は同分解斜視図、
第３図は第２の実施例のピストンを製造する金型
を示す縦断面図、第４図はこの第２の実施例のピ

Claims (1)
- 内燃機関のシリンダ内に摺動可能に取付けられ
るピストンにおいて、上部側をウイスカで複合強
化されたセラミツク体から構成するとともに、下
部側を少なくとも局部的にウイスカあるいはセラ
ミツク繊維で複合強化された金属から構成し、両
者を結合手段によつて結合するようにしたことを
特徴とする内燃機関用ピストン。
