[Prior Art] Generally, a multi-core cable with a circular cross section called an I10 cable is used for signal transmission between office automation equipment, but when connecting the end to the equipment, a flat cable is used. A flat connector for cables is used. In this case, when attaching the flat connector to the cable terminal, it is necessary to arrange a large number of insulated core wires in a predetermined order and connect them to each connection terminal of the flat connector.

Conventionally, the work of an automatic fiber arrangement device that automatically arranges each insulated core wire of a multi-core cable into a flat connector in a predetermined order is as follows:
This is done as shown in Figure 7. That is, the proximal end 2A of the multi-core cable 2, which has been previously wound around the drum 1, is pulled out across the flange of the drum 1, and each insulated core wire 3 is pulled out from the proximal end 2A. A mask connector 4 is formed by manually arranging and connecting these insulated core wires 3 to a flat connector in a predetermined order while avoiding exposure. A detection means 9 is connected to the incense stick discriminator 7 via a cord 8, and in this state, one wire is connected to each insulated core wire 3 exposed from the tip 2B of the multi-core cable 2.
A robot (not shown) contacts each book with the detection means 9 to measure continuity or capacitance, and the insulated core wire 3, whose wire number has been determined, is connected to the flat connector based on the wire number instruction of the Ii No. 1 discriminator 70. All of these operations were performed on the insulated core wires 3 by arranging them at 10 predetermined positions using a robot and inserting them into the slots of the connection terminals at those positions to connect them.

[Means for solving the problems] The configuration of the present invention for achieving the above object is described as an example for ¥4
The present invention will be explained with reference to FIGS. 1 to 5, in which each insulated core wire 3 of a multi-core cable 2 is installed in a predetermined position and is connected to a pair of comb-shaped core wire supports 13 in phase correspondence. A randomly arranged wire holder 12 that is inserted into each of the wire support portions 13A and supported in a random arrangement, and a pair of II toothed wire supports in which a plurality of wire support portions 16A are in a corresponding state. A specific arrangement cable holder 15 having a tool 16, and a plurality of connection terminals 17 corresponding to each of the cable support parts 16A of the specific arrangement cable holder 15, and the teeth on both sides of the specific arrangement cable holder 15. The flat connectors 10 arranged in 16 shaped core wire support parts and each of the insulated core wires 3 supported in a random arrangement on the randomly arranged core wire holder 12 are connected one by one by both knobs 18△ of the manipulator 18. The automatic arrangement of the fibers is carried out by picking up the fibers and supporting them in the double-toothed core support portion 16 of the specific arrangement fiber holder 15 in a predetermined order in correspondence with the specific connection terminals 17 of the flat connector 10. 19, both wj of the randomly arranged core wire holder 12;
The inner end dimension e1 between the toothed core wire supports 13 is determined to be larger than 4 as the dimension between the outer ends between the both knobs 18A of the manibilizer 18, and The outer end dimension C2 between the toothed core wire supports 16 is the inner end dimension C3 between the both knobs 18Δ of the manipulator 18.
It is characterized by being smaller.

Next, a method of automatically arranging each insulated core wire 3 with respect to the flat connector 10 using such a multi-core cable automatic wire arranging device will be described. Both randomly arranged core wire holders 12! Each insulated core wire 3 on the distal end portion 2B side of the multi-core cable 2 is supported in a random arrangement on the corresponding core wire support portions 13A of the lil tooth-shaped core wire support 13 by appropriate means. In this state, the randomly arranged core wire holder 3 is picked up one by one using both picking parts 18Δ of the manipulator 18. In this case, the outer end dimension (4) between both the knobs 18A of the manipulator 18 is selected to be smaller than the inner 9 dimension β1 between the two tooth-shaped core wire supports 13 of the randomly arranged core wire holder 12. Both gripping portions 18A can grip the portion of the insulated core wire 3 that is in tension between the double-sided toothed core wire supports 13, and can easily and reliably pick up the insulated core wire 3. When picking a portion with both knobs 18A, one knob 1
Conductivity is established with an electrode needle 8A (not shown), and the wire number of the insulated core wire 3 in the picked state is determined by the wire number discriminator 7.

[Efficacy of invention! ! ! ] As explained above, the automatic fiber arrangement device for a multi-core cable according to the present invention includes a random arrangement fiber holder, a specific arrangement fiber holder, and an automatic fiber arrangement device that controls a manipulator for picking an insulated core wire. Using a machine, pick each insulated core wire randomly arranged on the randomly arranged fiber holder with a manipulator and connect it to each connection terminal of the flat connector set on the specific arrangement fiber holder according to the wire number. Therefore, the insulated core wires can be arranged automatically and efficiently. In particular, in the present invention, the inner end dimension between the toothed core wire supports on both sides of the randomly arranged core wire holder is set larger than the outer end dimension between the both knob parts of the manipulator, so that both the knob parts are The insulated core wire portion supported under tension between the toothed core wire supports can be picked up, and the insulated core wires can be easily and reliably picked up one by one. In addition, since the outer end dimension between both toothed core wire supports of the specific arrangement core wire holder is set smaller than the inner end dimension between both knobs of the manipulator, there is no tension between the two knobs. A certain insulated core part can be pressed against the double-ended toothed core support of the specific wire core holder and inserted into the corresponding core support part, and the insulated core wire can be inserted into the specific core support part. The insertion work can be performed easily and reliably.

a randomly arranged core wire holder which is installed at a predetermined position and supports each insulated core wire of a multi-core cable in a random array by inserting each insulated core wire of a multi-core cable into each corresponding core wire support part of a pair of comb-shaped core wire supports; , a specific array core wire holder having a pair of comb-like core wire supports in which a plurality of core wire supports are in mutual correspondence, and a plurality of connection terminals connected to each of the specific array core wire holders. a flat connector disposed between the comb-like core support parts of the specific array core holder in correspondence with the core wire support parts; and each of the insulators supported in a random arrangement on the randomly array core holder. Pick up the core wires one by one with both knobs of the manipulator, match them to the specific connection terminals of the flat connector, and place them in the comb-shaped core support portions of the specific array core wire holder in a predetermined order. It consists of an automatic wire arrangement machine for supporting,
The dimension between the inner ends of the comb-shaped fiber supports of the randomly arranged fiber holder is largely determined by the dimension between the outer ends of the two knobs of the manipulator; An automatic fiber arrangement device for a multi-core cable, characterized in that a dimension between the outer ends of both the comb-like core wire supports is set smaller than a dimension between the inner ends between the two knobs of the manipulator.
