(b) Conventional technology In general, electronic finger blood pressure monitors use a finger cuff to press the finger.
A photoelectric pulse wave sensor attached to this finger cuff detects changes in arterial volume caused by finger pressure, and a pressure sensor detects the pressure inside the cuff, resulting in a pulse wave obtained during the cuff pressure reduction process. The blood pressure value is determined based on the cuff pressure and the cuff pressure, and the cuff is pressurized to a predetermined pressure by a pressurizing means before starting measurement. Since the specific pressure to be applied to differs from person to person, conventionally a pressurization value setting device was provided to allow the pressurization value to be set in several stages, and the set value could be selected as appropriate by switching. are doing. In addition, if you want to increase the pressure higher than the pressure value set with the pressure setting device, turn on the start switch continuously, drive the pressure means, and check the display until the cuff pressure reaches the desired pressure. When this happens, the start switch is turned off to stop pressurization.

(c) Problems to be Solved by the Invention In the electronic blood pressure monitor for use, the cuff capacity is small, so that the desired set value is reached within a few seconds after the start of pressurization. Therefore,
After pressurizing to the value set on the pressurization value setting device, turn on the start switch while looking at the display, and try to pressurize to the predetermined value added to the set value, but the desired value will be instantly exceeded, and the actual value will be exceeded. Moreover, it was difficult to pressurize to a value other than that set by the pressurization value setting device. Therefore, it may be possible to increase the range of the pressure value setter so that the pressure value setter can be selected in detail, but if it has more ranges than the conventional four-stage switching range, the pressure value setter will be expensive. There is a problem in that the cost of the entire instrument increases.

In view of the above, an object of the present invention is to provide an electronic finger sphygmomanometer that can easily pressurize to a desired pressure value higher than a set value without requiring a cost amplifier compared to conventional ones.

(E) Function In this electronic finger blood pressure monitor, at the start of measurement, the pressurizing means is activated to pressurize the cuff. The pressure is increased to a pressure value stored in the set pressure value storage means. When the operation input means is operated during pressurization, a constant pressure value is added to the set pressure value stored in the set pressure value storage means, and the set pressure value is updated. Then, pressurization is performed up to the updated set pressure value.

In this pressurization process, first, the cuff rubber bag 19 is pressurized to a set value set by the pressurization value setter 15, and then the pressurization is stopped, and the process moves to the next measurement preprocess (Sr1). In this pre-measurement processing, processing such as waiting time for base line stabilization after completion of pressurization, step pressurization by detecting ON of the start switch 17a, and insufficient pressurization processing are performed. In this invention,
These pressurization treatments and measurement pretreatments are characteristic, and these treatments will be described in more detail later.

Following the measurement pre-processing, the systolic blood pressure is determined (Sr8);
Furthermore, the mean blood pressure is determined (Sr1), and the diastolic blood pressure is calculated from the determined systolic blood pressure and mean blood pressure (STI
O),! pulse rate is calculated (STII). Note that there are various algorithms for calculating the systolic blood pressure, mean blood pressure, and diastolic blood pressure. For example, the systolic blood pressure is defined as the cuff pressure value at the time when the pulse wave amplitude of the pulse wave detected by the pulse wave sensor exceeds a predetermined level, and the cuff pressure at the maximum value of the pulse wave amplitude is defined as the average blood pressure. The diastolic blood pressure is calculated from hypertension/average blood pressure by (3 x average blood pressure - systolic blood pressure)/2. However, in this invention, since the blood pressure determination process is not the main part, detailed explanation thereof will be omitted. Of course, these systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, average blood pressure, and pulse rate are displayed on the display 14.

Also, the valve 24 is closed (Sr24), and then 20
After a time of 0 milliseconds (Sr25), the motor 22 is turned on (Sr26). The reason for waiting 200 milliseconds here is to wait for the valve 24 to stabilize. When the motor 22 is turned on at 5T26, the pump is driven and pressurization of the cuff rubber bag 19 via the air tank 25 is started. Then, it is stored in the counter S0 as Cuff-T. The value obtained by dividing the value by 8 and subtracting 5 from it, that is, the value of Cuff-T So-h□ is stored (Sr27). For example, when the pressurization value setter 15 is set to 140 mmHg, 18-5=13

The fact that the processes 5T28 to 5T34 are repeated 12 times means that a timer time of 200 milliseconds is set each time, so 2.4 seconds is counted here. During this 2.4 seconds, the pressurization value setting device 15 normally sets the predetermined pressure 14.

When pressurization is completed and measurement pre-processing begins, the auto power-off timer is reset at 5T41, and then 4 is set in the counter S0 (Sr42). Next, it is determined whether the clear switch 16a is turned on (5T43), and if it is not turned on, it is further determined whether the start switch 17a is turned on (Sr44). If the start switch 17a is not turned on, it is determined whether the timer T-1 is 0 (Sr45). At first, timer T is O, this judgment becomes YES, and then timer T-1 is set to 500.
Set the millisecond (Sr46), display the current pressure on the diastolic blood pressure display section of the display 14 (Sr47), then subtract 1 from the counter S0 at 5T48 (SO=3), 5o= It is determined whether it is 0 or not (5T49), and if it is not 0, it returns to 5T43. Here, AMP-F indicates a pulse wave flag, which becomes "1" when a pulse wave is detected. AMP-1 is an area for storing the amplitude of the detected first pulse wave, PULS-) is an area for storing the maximum value of the pulse wave component, and PULS-L is an area for storing the maximum value of the pulse wave component.
This is an area that stores the lowest value of the pulse wave component.

Next, it is determined whether the clear switch 16a is turned on and whether the start switch 17a is turned on (Sr51.5T52). If none of the switches are turned on, it is determined whether the timer T-I is O or not (5T53), and since it is initially O, the determination is YES, and then the timer T-+ is set to 500:1. The pulse wave is detected at a predetermined period by a process not shown, and when the output change (gradient) of the pulse wave sensor exceeds a predetermined value,
An interrupt is generated to set the pulse wave flag AMP-F to 1. 5T57
If the pulse wave flag AMP-F becomes "1" before 5o=0, that is, before 1.5 seconds have elapsed, it means that pressurization is insufficient, and the process moves to 5T59. On the other hand, AMP-F is O
If 1.5 seconds pass during this time, it is determined that the pressurization is not insufficient, and the process moves from 5T57 to Sr1 in FIG. 4.

When it is desired to increase the pressurization value by a predetermined value more than the pressurization value set by the pressurization value setter 15, the start switch 17a is turned on. Start switch 17a of 5T44 if this is turned on during the first 1.5 seconds of timing (Sr43 to 5T49), and of 5T52 if it is during the second 1.5 seconds of timing (Sr51 to 5T57). When the determination as to whether it is on is YES in both cases, the process moves to 5T64, where the Cuff-T is stored where the pressurization setting value set by the pressurization value setter 15 is stored.
