Claims (1)
- スカート部の肩部に環状のストラツトが埋込ま
れ、該ストラツトの内周部がスカート部の内側に
露出する内燃機関のピストンにおいて、上記スト
ラツトが、外方に突出する支持部とばね性を有し
内方に突出する係合部とを形成されたホルダと、
このホルダに巻回され、上記支持部に支持される
カーボン長繊維から成る補強部材とを備え、ピス
トンの鋳造時に、鋳型と上記補強部材の間に空気
層が形成されるように上記係合部を介して鋳型に
嵌合されることを特徴とする内燃機関のピストン
。
