ポートとは別に補助ポートを設けるとともに、各
気筒の補助ポートを他の気筒の補助ポートに所定
の関係でもつて連通する連通路を設ける一方、上
記各補助ポートを、少なくとも排気行程後期と圧
縮行程初期に開状態とする補助開閉弁を設け、各
気筒の排気行程終期に、他気筒で発生される高圧
を連通路及び補助ポートを介して当該気筒に作用
させるようにしたことを特徴とするエンジンの掃
気装置。
