Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 [産業上の利用分野] この発明は血液、血清等の生物体液中に含まれる特定成
分の含有量または活性を化学的に分析するための化学分
析スライドの製造方法に関するものである。
[従来の技術] 一般に化学分析スライドは、透明支持体上に試薬層と液
体展開層を積層して成る化学分析フィルムと、これを収
容する収容部を有する下部フレームと、前記分析フィル
ムを露出させるための開口を有し前記収容部に収容した
分析フィルムの一部を覆うことができる上部フレームと
から成る。これを製造するには、下部フレームの収容部
に化学分析フィルムを収容し、下部フレームと上部フレ
ームとを密着、固定する。前記開口は、分析しようとす
る液体試料を滴下(点着)するために設けられている、
下部フレームには通常、試薬層の光学的変化(呈色、変
色等)を測定するための開口が設けられている。この開
口の内側の領域で分析フィルムの光学測定がなされる。
下部フレームおよび上部フレームが熱可塑性樹脂から成
る場合、これらを密着、固定するには、通常上部フレー
ムに密着しうる平面を有する超音波振動ホーンを介して
超音波振動を与えて前記下部フレームと上部フレームと
を接合させる方法が用いられる。端面が平面の超音波ホ
ーンを用いて超音波接合を行うとき、この平面が化学分
析スライドの全面を覆う場合には、化学分析フィルムに
超音波エネルギーによる不測の障害が起こることがある
。例えば、液体展開層の一部が試薬層から剥離したり、
試薬層の一部が支持体から剥離する。
[発明の目的] 本発明の目的は、上部フレームに密着しうる表面を有す
る超音波振動ホーンを介して超音波振動を与えて前記下
部フレームと上部フレームとを接合させる際に、化学分
析フィルムに超音波エネルギーによる障害が生ずること
がない化学分析スライドの製造方法の提供にある。
[発明の構成コ 上記目的は、化学分析フィルムの収容部を有する下部フ
レームと、前記分析フィルムを露出させるための開口を
有し前記収容部に収容した分析フィルムの一部を覆うこ
とができる上部フレームとを密着させ、前記上部フレー
ムに密着しうる表面を有する超音波振動ホーンを介して
超音波振動を与えて前記下部フレームと上部フレームと
を接着させて化学分析スライドを製造する際に、超音波
振動ホーンの前記上部フレームに密着しうる表面の分析
フィルムの面への投影が、分析フィルムを全く包含しな
い超音波ホーンを用いることにjり達成された。
上部フレームに密着しうる超音波ホーンの表面は化学分
析フィルムの外周より若干大きい中空部分を有する環状
の領域から成る0例えば内側の輪郭(内周)が化学分析
フィルムの外周より0.2mmないし3mm外側にある
のが好ましい。外周は分析スライドの外周付近く内側、
線上、外側いずれでもよい)にあることが好ましい。
超音波ホーンの振動伝達端面ば、平面とは限らず、その
一部に突起部を有してもよい、また突起部に隣接して別
の小さい陥没部を有してもよい。
第1図に一つの実施例を示す、第1図において、1は下
部フレーム、2は上部フレーム、3は分析フィルムであ
る。下部フレーム1は上部フレーム2とともに、凹部4
内に分析フィルム3を収容する。上部フレーム2はその
中央領域に液体試料を点着するための開口6が設けられ
ている。この点着用開口の径は点着時の作業性を考慮し
て決定されるが、通常前記分析フィルム3より小さい、
上部フレーム2は通常、熱可塑性樹脂(プラスチック)
から成る。
下部フレーム1と上部フレーム2との接合は、上部フレ
ームに密着し得る平面の端面を有する超音波ホーン7を
用いて、超音波溶接により行なわれる。超音波ホーン7
は分析フィルム3に対向する位置に、分析フィルムの外
周より大きい輪郭をもつ陥没部8を有する。
第3図は化学分析フィルムの一例の断面図で、分析フィ
ルム3は透明支持体3aの上面に試薬層3bが形成され
、該試薬層3bの上面に展開層3Cが積層されている。
展開層3Cはこれに点着した液体試料を面方向に均一に
拡散して、試薬層3bに反応させるためのものである。
ただし、これは分析フィルムの一例であって、分析フィ
ルムはこの他種々の構造をとることができる(試薬層の
代わりに検出層、試薬層と展開層の間に光反射層または
ろ過層、等)。
下部フレーム1は通常、プラスチックで成形され、その
中央部分には前記分析フィルム3を収容する凹部4を設
ける。凹部4の各辺の寸法は分析フィルム3より若干大
きく、四部4の深さは通常前記分析フィルム3の厚さと
同じか若干大きく、作られる。この凹部4を有する下部
フレームの成形は射出成形、圧空成形、真空成形の何れ
の手段によってもよい、下部フレーム1は一体に形成さ
れていてもよいが、第5図に示したように、フィルム収
容部に相当する開口4aを有する中枠1aと下部シート
1bで構成されてもよい。中枠1aと下部シート1bは
それぞれ、フープ材と呼ばれるプラスチック長尺ウェブ
から裁断、さん孔して作ってもよい。
下部フレーム1を不透明性のプラスチック素材により成
形する場合は、測光用の開口5が必要である。この間口
5の大きさは測光時の照射光の照射面積との関係で決定
される。下部フレーム1を透明性プラスチック素材によ
り成形する場合には、凹部4内に収容した分析フィルム
3は透視できるから、凹部4の底部の測光用の開口を省
略することができる。
上記実施例では下部フレーム1と上部フレーム2との間
に一個の分析フィルム3を装入したものを示しているが
、複数個のマウント領域を有し、該マウント領域の中心
部に凹部4を設けたマウント部材Aを用い、各凹部4に
分析フィルム3を収容し、これに上部フレーム部材Bを
重ね、その必要部位を接合した後、第6図の一点鎖線a
に沿って切断して単位スライドに分割するようにしても
よい。
[発明の効果] 本発明では、超音波ホーンを上部フレームに密着させ超
音波振動を与えて下部フレームと上部フレームとを接合
させる際に、上部フレームに超音波ポーンが密着する領
域の直下には化学分析フィルムが存在しないため、化学
分析フィルムに超音波エネルギーによる障害が生ずるこ
とがない。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 (1)化学分析フィルムを収容するための収容部を有す
    る下部フレームと、前記収容部に収容した分析フィルム
    の一部を覆うことができる上部フレームとを密着させ、
    前記上部フレームに密着しうる表面を有する超音波振動
    ホーンを介して超音波振動を与えて前記下部フレームと
    上部フレームとを接合して化学分析スライドを製造する
    方法であって、 前記超音波振動ホーンの前記表面は、その前記分析フィ
    ルムを含む面への投影が前記分析フィルムを全く包含し
    ないことを特徴とする方法。 (2)前記上部フレームおよび下部フレームが熱可塑性
    樹脂から成ることを特徴とする特許請求の範囲(1)に
    記載の方法。 (3)前記下部フレームをフィルム収容部に相当する開
    口4aを有する中枠と下部シートとで構成したことを特
    徴とする特許請求の範囲 (1)に記載の方法。
