This type of elevating and lowering conveyance device uses support means (guide rails, conveyors, etc.) provided on a moving body that rotates in a vertical circulation path and fixed side support means (guide rails, conveyors, etc.) to transport objects. This is a conventional device of this type, which is a so-called pass-through type device in which the transferred object transferred to the support means on the moving body side from one end side is sent out from the other end side. , a device disclosed in Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 55-35744 is known, but in such a conventional device, the supporting means is placed in a vertical circulation path at an intermediate position between the ascending path and the descending path of the supporting device. Since a circulating movement path for the chain to be driven along is constructed, the cross-sectional area of the device becomes very large, resulting in the drawback that a large installation floor space is required.

In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes an endless circulation path consisting of an ascending path portion 2a, a descending path portion 2b, and horizontal path portions 3 at both upper and lower ends.
As shown in the figure, there are two endless chains 4a, 4b and 5a, 5b on both the left and right sides, with the upper and lower ends of the movement path of the inner chains 4a, 4b being higher than both the upper and lower ends of the movement path of the outer chains 5a, 5b. They are each suspended by four gear wheels 6 so as to be high. Reference numeral 7 denotes a motor that drives, via a transmission shaft 8, one gear wheel 6a, 6b that hangs the lower end side of the inner chains 4a, 4b. As shown in FIG. 1, a total of eight gear wheels hanging the lower ends of the chains 4a to 5b are supported by a frame 9 that can be moved upward in the event of an overload, and the motor 7 is mounted on this frame 9. A means for detecting upward movement of the frame 9 can also be used.

The device of the present invention can be implemented and used as in the embodiments described above, and its greatest feature is that both left and right sides are supported by endless rotating bodies for circulation drive (chains 4a to 5b in the embodiments). The object to be conveyed (transporting movable body 36 in the embodiment) is moved in a direction parallel to the left-right direction connecting the endless rotary bodies on both left and right sides to the movable body that circulates up and down in a vertical circulation path while maintaining a fixed vertical posture. A support means (in the embodiment, the conveyance moving body support rail 13) that supports the
The movable body is supported by protruding in a cantilever shape from the front and back to one side, so that when viewed from the left and right sides, either the ascending path or the descending path of the support means is the vertical movement of the endless rotating body. A normally closed stopper is disposed on the conveyed object exit side of the support means, and an opening operation tool (rod 36 in the embodiment) for the normally closed stopper is disposed, An operation means (cylinder unit 35 in the embodiment) for operating a stopper opening operation tool of the support means stopped at a predetermined position is disposed beside the ascending and descending circulation path of the movable body.

According to such a device of the present invention, an object to be transported transferred from the fixed side support means on an arbitrary floor onto the moving body side support means is transferred onto the fixed side support means on a different arbitrary floor, and transferred to the fixed side support means on the movable body side. It is very convenient in terms of layout because the moving direction of the transported object is always constant, compared to the case where the transported object must be moved backwards before being sent out. It is.

Furthermore, compared to conventional devices of this type, the space in the middle of the lifting path of the endless rotary body for circulating drive, which inevitably occurs, is used as one of the lifting paths of the support means, thereby reducing the cross-sectional area of the entire device. This allows effective use of the installation floor surface.

Furthermore, according to the configuration of the present invention, the normally closed stopper attached to the exit side of the support means that supports the conveyed object so as to be able to pass therethrough prevents the conveyed object from moving when it is transferred onto the support means or during vertical transportation. This eliminates the risk of the conveyed object accidentally falling from the outlet side of the support means, improving safety. Since it was set up in
The structure of the supply system for power (fluid pressure, electric power, etc.) to the operating means becomes easy, and the possibility of failure is reduced.

In the embodiment, the horizontal path portion 3 was formed at the U-turn portion between the ascending path portion 2a and the descending path portion 2b, but at both the upper and lower ends of the endless circulation path 1,
An arcuate U-turn path section may be formed by using one gear wheel with a large diameter that hangs each of the endless rotation chains 4a to 5b separately. Furthermore, although a transportation moving body support rail is shown as the means for supporting the conveyed object, it may be a tray that directly supports the conveyed object, various conveyors, or any other means for supporting the conveyed object.

1. A movable body that circulates up and down in a vertical circulation path while maintaining a constant up and down posture with its left and right sides supported by endless rotating bodies for circulation drive, parallel to the left-right direction connecting the endless rotating bodies on both left and right sides. A support means for supporting the conveyed object so as to be able to pass therethrough in a direction is supported by protruding in a cantilever shape from the moving body toward one side of the front and back, so that when viewed from one side of the left and right, the support means Either one of the ascending path and the descending path of the endless rotating body is located in the middle of the ascending and descending path of the endless rotating body, and a normally closed stopper is disposed on the conveyed object exit side of the supporting means. An elevating conveyance device comprising: an operating tool for opening a normally closed stopper; and an operating means for operating the operating tool for opening the stopper of the support means, which is stopped at a predetermined position, on the side of the elevating circulation path of the movable body.
