《Problems to be solved by the invention》 However, when aiming to increase brightness and improve visibility by using light bulbs with large power consumption, the conventional structure of the motorcycle turn signal lights described above is difficult to solve. In this case, the filament of the light bulb passes through the lens and is viewed directly by the viewer, and for example, the dazzle caused to the driver of a following vehicle is also increased, causing a safety problem. Since the structure is such that the light bulb and lens face each other, the lens easily receives the heat generated from the light bulb (radiant heat) directly, and since the entire lamp including the light bulb is attached to the outside of the car body, it is sealed to prevent heat from escaping. This also led to the problem that items that needed to be constructed and were originally difficult to miniaturize became increasingly larger.

<Means for Solving the Problems> The present invention, as a specific means for solving the problems that occur in the conventional structure described above, is a box-shaped box that protrudes outside the car body surface and has an opening on the car body side as the bottom. a lens, a box-shaped base buried inside the vehicle body surface and connected to the bottom surface of the lens substantially flush with the vehicle body, and a light bulb that is attached to the base and holds the light bulb within the base so that the filament is within the vehicle body surface. and a reflector, which is provided along a predetermined side surface within the lens over substantially the entire height of the lens and reflects the luminous flux from the light bulb toward a side surface of the lens that faces the predetermined side surface. By providing a direction indicator light for a two-wheeled vehicle, the problem can be solved by preventing the occurrence of dazzle and making it possible to downsize the vehicle.

Reference numeral 2 denotes a reflector that is provided along a predetermined side surface within the lens 1 and spanning almost the entire height of the lens 1. A stepped reflective surface 2a is formed on the inner wall surface, and a boss 2b is provided at the center of the lower end of the reflector. formed,
Further, a mounting piece 2c having an L-shaped cross section is formed on the hem portion so as to protrude from three sides. Reference numeral 3 is a box-shaped base that opens upward, and the bottom wall is formed in two stages.
A boss hole 3a is formed inside the upper part, a socket fitting hole 3b is formed in the lower part, and an engaging step part 3c that fits with the lens 1 and the reflector 2 are received on the upper end surface. A green surface 3d is formed. Reference numeral 4 designates a heat insulating plate installed in the base 3, which has an escape hole 4a corresponding to the socket fitting hole 3b, and has rising pieces 4b provided at both ends.

The heat insulating plate 4 is designed to be placed on the lower side of the bottom wall of the base 3, and the reflector 2 is placed on the base 3 with the mounting piece 2c placed on the green surface 3d of the base 3, and the lens 1 reflector 2
If it is fitted to the base 3 so as to cover the base 3, and the overlapping portion of the two is welded by ultrasonic welding, for example, it becomes possible to form an integrated lamp. At this time, as shown in FIG. 5, the reflector 2 is stably fixed with the mounting piece 2c clamped between the base 3 and the lens 1, and the upright piece 4b of the heat insulating plate 4 is attached to the reflector 2.
and the bottom wall of the base 3, and are similarly stably fixed.

Reference numeral 5 designates a socket into which a light bulb 6 is mounted, which can be fitted into the socket fitting hole 3b of the base 3, and the light bulb 6 is housed within the base 3. Now, to explain in more detail the mutual relationship between the reflector 2, base 3, and light bulb 6, which is the gist of the present invention, the base 3 accommodates at least the filament of the light bulb 6 within the base 3. The point is that there is no light emitting source inside the lens 1, and as a result, the stepped reflective surface 2a provided on the reflector 2
The structure is such that the light beam from the filament of the light bulb 6 in the base 3 is reflected toward the side surface facing the side surface of the lens 1 on which the reflector 2 is provided.

The lamp according to the present invention is constructed as described above, and is mounted on the mounting portion 7a of the vehicle body 7 so that the bottom surface of the lens 1 is substantially flush with the mounting portion 7a. At this time, the base 3 is dropped into the mounting part 7a of the vehicle body 7 and is received by the stepped part 7b and the mounting piece 7c, and the screw 8 is inserted into the boss hole 3c from the mounting piece 7c side and tightened into the boss 2b. Then, it can be attached to the vehicle body 7.

<<Effects of the invention>> As explained above, the turn signal light for motorcycles of the present invention has a structure in which the light bulb is housed in the housing and irradiated through the reflector, so that the light bulb passes through the lens, which is the light emitting surface. In particular, the filament, which is the light source, is no longer seen directly, and the light emitting surface emits light with uniform brightness, which improves visibility and eliminates the possibility of dazzling the drivers behind you. This has an excellent effect on improving safety, and also allows for a sufficient distance between the lens and the light bulb, which reduces the possibility of the lens being heated by radiant heat, making it possible to downsize.
