Claims (1)
- 駆動カム軸と被駆動カム軸とを、固定枠に形成
した軸受部に回転自在に支持させるとともにこれ
ら各カム軸に設けられた歯車を介して相互に連結
させ、前記被駆動カム軸の端部に形成したフラン
ジを前記軸受部に係合させて前記被駆動カム軸の
スラスト方向の変位を規制するよう構成したカム
軸の支持構造において、前記被駆動カム軸の軸端
部に、前記固定枠に取り付けられた補機の軸部材
を同軸的に連結し、前記被駆動カム軸の前記補機
側端部と前記補機の軸部材の端部とに、それぞれ
フランジを形成し、これら両フランジの間に電歪
素子を介在させ、また前記固定枠には前記被駆動
カム軸のフランジと該固定枠との間隙を検知する
ギヤツプセンサを設け、該センサと前記電歪素子
とを電子制御装置に接続し、前記被駆動カム軸の
フランジのスラスト方向の動きに応じて前記電歪
素子を伸縮させ前記被駆動カム軸と固定枠との間
隙を一定に保つようにしたことを特徴とするカム
軸の支持構造。
