Description
【考案の詳細な説明】
本考案は電話器用芳香消毒具に関するものであ
り、特に芳香性の持続性に優れた電話器用芳香消
毒具に関する。
従来、電話器用芳香消毒具としては、電話器送
話口に取付可能な支持体の空間内に、消毒薬剤と
香料等の芳香剤とを賦形剤に混入して偏平な環状
ペレツトに成形したものを収容させ、多孔性の押
え板で押えたものが広く使用されている。
しかしながら、この種の芳香消毒具においては
ペレツトからの香料の逸散が早く、比較的短期間
の内の芳香効果が失われるという欠点がある。
本考案によれば、芳香性が比較的長時間にわた
つて持続した電話器用芳香消毒具が提供される。
即ち本考案によれば、下側に電話器送話口の小
孔に嵌挿し得る取付用ピンを有し且つ上側に消毒
薬剤成形品を収容する環状空間を有する支持体
と、該環状空間に収容された消毒薬剤の偏平成形
品と、該薬剤成形品の上側で該支持体に着脱自在
に係合された多孔性押え板とから成り、該多孔性
押え板は、ポリエチレンと該ポリエチレン当り約
0.2乃至5重量%の割合で配合されている高沸点
香料とから形成された樹脂成形品から成ることを
特徴とする電話器用芳香消毒具が提供される。
本考案を添付図面に示す具体例に基づき以下に
詳細に説明する。
第1図及び第2図において、本考案の芳香消毒
具は、全体として1で示す支持体、消毒薬剤成形
品2及び多孔性押え板3から形成されている。
支持体1は、底部4とその周辺から幾分隆起し
ている周縁部5とから成つており、底部4の中央
には電話器送話口(図示せず)に音声を伝達する
ための開口6が形成されている。底部4の下側に
は電話器送話口の小孔(図示せず)に嵌挿し得る
取付用ピン7が設けられている。周縁部5の内周
面には比較的小径の部分8と比較的大径の部分9
とが設けられ、前述した多孔性押え板3はこの大
径の部分9と係合し、その内部に環状空間10を
形成するようになつている。
消毒薬剤成形品2は、それ自体公知の消毒薬
剤、例えばパラホルムアルデヒドを必要により香
料と共に賦形剤と共に偏平ドーナツの形のタブレ
ツトに打錠することにより製造される。賦形剤と
しては、結晶セルロース、デンプン等が使用さ
れ、タブレツト中のパラホルムアルデヒドの濃度
は、一例として0.8重量%程度である。
本考案によれば、この多孔性押え板3を、ポリ
エチレンに約0.2乃至5重量%の高沸点香料を配
合した熱可塑性樹脂組成物で成形する。
ポリエチレンは、香料との練り込みが良好で、
しかも比較的低い温度で成形が可能であるという
特性を有しており、香料の分解なしに多孔性押え
板に練り込み成形が可能となり、更に香料の持続
放出性に優れているという利点が達成される。
即ちこの樹脂組成物においては、油状の香料と
樹脂とが非常に良くなじんだ形で存在し、成形品
からの香料の放出が徐々に持続して行なわれ、そ
の結果として芳香性が持続して得られるという顕
著な利点が達成されるのである。
本発明においては、特に低密度ポリエチレンが
最も好適である。
本考案に用いる香料としては、これに限定され
るものではないが、天然又は合成の香料、例えば
シヨウノウ油、カツシア油、ボワローズ油、チヨ
ウジ油、ユーカリ油、セダー油、ビヤクダン油、
ダイウイキヨウ油、イランイラン油、レモン油、
オレンヂ油、ベルガモツト油、ラベンダー油、パ
ツチユリ油、シトロネラ油、レモングラス油、ベ
チバ油、バラ油、ゼラニウム油等の精油、ジヤコ
ウ、シベツト、ウミダヌキ香、アンバーグリス等
の動物性香料、バニリン、サリチル酸メチル、シ
ンナミルアルデヒド、β−フエニルエチルアルコ
ール、オキシシトロネラール、フエニルアセトア
ルデヒド、ピペロナール等の合成香料、これらの
少くとも2種以上を調合した調合香料等を用いる
ことができる。
用いる熱可塑性樹脂は、香料との練込みが良好
で、しかも比較的低い温度で成形が可能なもので
あり、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、エチレン
−プロピレン共重合体の如きオレフイン樹脂や塩
化ビニル樹脂等が適している。香料の分解なしに
多孔性押え板に練込み成形が可能であり、しかも
香料の持続放出性に優れており、本考案の目的に
最も適している樹脂はポリエチレン、特に低密度
ポリエチレンである。
樹脂中に混入する香料の量が0.2乃至5重量%
特に0.5乃至2重量%の範囲にあることも重要で
あり、香料の量が上記範囲よりも少ないときに
は、香りの強度の点で不満足であり、一方上記範
囲よりも多いときには、樹脂への練込み成形の点
で不都合を生じることになる。
本考案を次の例で説明する。
低密度ポリエチレンとポリエチレン当り1重量
%の下記の調合香料とを熱時均一に混合した後、
重量0.9グラムの第1及び2図に示す多孔性押え
板3に成形した。尚、比較のため、香料を混合す
ることなく、低密度ポリエチレンから同様の多孔
性押え板を成形した。
調合香料 BJL−a:
フイジ(Fidji)の雰囲気を持つたフローラ
ル・フレツシユ(Floral−Fresh)を特徴とした
香料。
調合香料 BJL−b:
チヤーリー(Charlie)に似たイメージを持ち、
フローラル調の内でも特にハーバル(Herbal)
を特徴としたフローラルな香料。
調合香料 BJL−c:
カランドレ(Calandre)のイメージを持つた
フローラル・ウツデイ(Floral−Woody)を特
徴とした香料。
調合香料 BJL−d:
シングル・フローラルであるスズランの香りを
中心にコスメテイツク調にまとめた香料。
また、、結晶セルロース及び全体当り0.8重量%
のパラホルムアルデヒドを、重量1.5グラムの第
1図に示す偏平ドーナツ状のタブレツトに成形し
た。このタブレツトには前述した調合香料を重量
で0%、0.5%及び1.5%夫々含有させた。
このタブレツト及び多孔性押え板を第1図の支
持体に装着した後、新しいもの及び4週間放置径
過したものについて、6名のパネラーを用いて官
能試験を行い、香りの強度を下記の基準
4 非常に強い、
3 強い、
2 普通、
1 弱い、
0 非常に弱い、
で評価させた。
得られた結果を、6名の平均値で下記第1表に
示す。
