Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily construct an underground continuous cut-off wall by a method in which a sheet cartridge incorporated with a water-stop sheet is lowered into a trench, the sheet is pulled out and set in the trench, and mud water is solidified. CONSTITUTION:A water-stop sheet 19 is folded and housed into the fold grooves of a sheet cartridge 12 having the fold grooves continued vertically which are formed by many parallel partition plates. The sheet 19 is fixed through detachable space rod at the fold partition of the bottom of its grooves. The cartridge 12 is lowered into a trench 1 excavated in the ground, a wire 26 is pulled while drawing the space rod to draw out the sheet 19, and the sheet 19 is set in the trench 1 by partitioning the widthwise direction of the trench 1. The packer of the sheet 19 is expanded to partition the trench 1, a hardener is injected into the trench 1 to harden mud water, and the cut-off wall is continuously constructed in the same way.

C. It is possible to make the wall thickness thinner in order to reduce the construction cost of an underground continuous wall, but there is no machine that can excavate a narrow trench, and even if a narrow trench could be dug, it would be difficult to make the wall thinner. A physical underground wall cannot be completed due to the loss of fluidity.

Second, from the point of view of water-stopping reliability and reliability, cracks in concrete walls during earthquakes impair water-stopping performance, and construction methods that use precast concrete panels or sheet piles have contaminants, bentonite, etc. in the joints. It was not possible to obtain sufficient water-stopping performance.
