工用ヘツドの一実施例を示すもので、第１図は側
面図、第２図は底面図、第３図は上記ウエーハ加
工用ヘツドの機能を説明するための縦断側面図で
ある。第４図乃至第７図は従来のウエーハ加工用
ヘツドの一例を示すもので、第４図は、上記ウエ
ーハ加工用ヘツドを含むウエーハ表面の突起除去
装置の側面図、第５図は第４図の平面図、第６図
は、上記ウエーハ加工用ヘツドの動作を説明する
ための側面図、第７図は上記ウエーハ加工用ヘツ
ドによる突起除去要領を説明するための拡大側面
図である。第８図は、上記在来のウエーハ加工用
ヘツドの問題点を説明するための縦断側面図であ
る。 Ｗ……半導体ウエーハ、ｍ……マウンド（不要
な突起）、４……吹出孔、２０……ウエーハ加工
用ヘツド、２１……溝。

Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 下端略中央部にガス吹出口を有し、回転駆動さ
れる半導体ウエーハの上で微小距離浮上して半導
体ウエーハの半径方向に移動可能に配置され、上
記半導体ウエーハ表面の不要な突起を破砕除去す
るためのウエーハ加工用ヘツドにおいて、 上記吹出孔の両側に半導体ウエーハの接線方向
に延びかつ、両端が側壁に開口する溝を設けたこ
とを特徴とするウエーハ加工用ヘツド。
