Claims (1)
- トーチ駆動モータによりトーチを母材に向つて
低速で接近させ、トーチが母材に接触した後、該
トーチ駆動モータによりトーチを急速に引き上げ
てトーチ・母材間に溶接アークを発生させるアー
ク起動装置において、トーチ位置を電気信号に変
換する位置検出器と、トーチと母材の接触を検知
する接触検知器と、該接触検知器からの接触検知
信号を受けてその時点での上記位置検出器の出力
信号を記憶し、それに対応する基準位置信号を出
力する記憶回路と、トーチ引き上げ量設定器から
の設定信号と上記基準位置信号との和に対応した
目標位置信号を出力する第１の演算手段と、上記
目標位置信号と上記位置検出器の出力信号との差
分に対応した信号を出力する第２の演算手段とを
備え、トーチ引き上げ時に上記第２の演算手段の
出力信号に基づいてトーチ駆動モータを制御し、
トーチ引き上げ量が設定値に一致する位置までト
ーチを移動させることを特徴とするアーク起動装
置。
