This type of conventional vehicle transfer conveyor has a structure in which the carrier that lifts and supports one wheel axle and the carrier drive chain always maintain engagement and do not separate, so the carrier must be stopped in order to load or unload the vehicle. In this case, it is necessary to stop the drive chain, which significantly reduces the transfer efficiency, and there is also the disadvantage that the vehicle cannot be separated from the drive chain for storage.

Rails 7, 7a, 8, 8a are all opposite 1
The carrier rail 7 is made of a pair of channel materials, and the carrier rail 7 has four rollers 9 and a running carrier 10a.
10b, 10c, 10d, 10e are connected by rod 11
A and 11b run a carrier coupling body 12 which is connected so as to be able to bend left and right, up and down. The carrier coupling body 12 is longer than the entire length of the vehicle M to be transferred, and when the front wheel shaft 13 of the vehicle M is lifted and supported by the carrier 10b, the carrier coupling body 12 protrudes from the front and rear of the vehicle M, and the carrier 10c extends forward of the rear wheels. Located in For this purpose, for example carrier 1
The center spacing between 0c, 10d, and 10e is carrier 10.
The length of the connecting rods 11a, 11b may be determined to be approximately 1/2 of the center spacing between the connecting rods 11a, 10c, and 10c. Although the connecting rod 11b is exposed on the carrier rail 7, the connecting rod 11b is sunk between a pair of channel members constituting the carrier rail 7 so as not to interfere with the lateral deflection of the rear wheels of the automobile on the curved path.

The carrier 10b has a vertical shaft 14 fixed thereto.
, a support member 1 that lifts and supports the front wheel shaft portion 13 is provided.
5 is horizontally rotatable, and the member 15 has a horizontal member 17 longer than the width of the pore 5 fixed to the upper end of a rotating shaft 16 that fits into the vertical shaft 14, and is attached to the upper surface of both ends of the horizontal member 17. The front wheel shaft portion 13 is supported by the attached pad 18. The horizontal member 17 is biased so as to be always perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the carrier by a pair of springs 19 that attract the front and rear ends of the rotation shaft 16.

The drive chain 20 runs guided by rollers on the chain rail 8, and a removable engagement device 21 is provided between the chain 20 and the leading carrier 10a. The engagement device 21 may be of a known structure, and the fifth engagement device 21 may be of a known structure.
The engagement device shown in the figure consists of a pusher 22 provided on the carrier 10a and a hook 23 provided on the chain 20 that can be raised and lowered. When engaged with the pusher 22, the carrier coupling body 12 is towed and transferred, and when the front slope 26 of the hook metal fitting 23 hits the release piece 27 provided on the rear carrier 10e of the preceding carrier coupling body or a similar fixed position stopper. , the hook fitting 23 is inverted, the engagement is released, and the carrier coupling body 12 is stopped.

Next, a method for lifting and supporting the front wheel shaft portion 13 using the support member 15 will be described. As described above, the rails 7, 8 and the rails 7a, 8a have a step at the loading position 2 and the unloading position 3, and an example of the connection is shown in FIGS. 8 and 9. At loading position 2 and unloading position 3, carrier rails 7, 7a
are connected by the inclined rail 7b, and the chain rails 8, 8a are connected by the inclined rail 7b at the loading position 2.

Inside the pit at the loading position 2, there is a slat conveyor 36 for transporting automobiles whose loading surface is at the same height as the floor plate 4, and a slat conveyor 36 that runs synchronously with the slat conveyor 36 in a transfer section corresponding to the biased rail 8b to carry the carrier linkage 12. A chain feeder 37 for transferring and a reciprocating type feeder 38 for feeding the carrier coupling body 12 from the rail 7a to the chain feeder 37 are provided. Chain feeder 37 and feeder 38 are carrier 10
It engages with the downwardly protruding pusher 39 of c to transfer the carrier coupling body 12.

The carrier coupling body 12 stops once the engagement holding fitting 32 is tilted upward by the tilting stopper 40 provided at the end of the rail 7a, and when the automobile M is carried into the loading position 2 by the slat conveyor 36,
The detection signal lowers the tilting stopper 40,
The carrier link 12 is launched by means of a feeder 38. The pushing piece of the feeder 38 that engages with the pusher 39 extends forward and pushes the carrier coupling body 12 to a position where the pushing piece of the chain feeder 37 can engage the pusher 39. Thereafter, the carrier coupling body 12 is transferred by the chain feeder 37, and the carrier 10b travels on the inclined rail 7b in synchronization with the front wheel shaft 13 of the automobile M on the slat conveyor 36, while the horizontal member 17 moves forward. It emerges from the hole 41 in the floorboard 4 onto the floor and lifts up the front wheel axle 13. As a result, the automobile M is pushed by the chain feeder 37 with its front wheels raised from the floor surface, and when the leading carrier 10a reaches the rail 8, it is taken over by the chain 20 and transferred.

The present invention has the above-mentioned configuration, and since it is sufficient to provide two stages of carrier rails and drive chain rails in the pit, construction and assembly of the transfer path are easy, and the carrier coupling body is removably engaged. Since the drive chain is engaged by the coupling device, it is possible to load and unload vehicles without stopping the drive chain, which significantly improves the transfer efficiency compared to conventional methods. Also, since the part of the connecting rod of the carrier coupling body that is immediately behind the rear wheels of the car being transported is submerged below the floor surface, the rear wheels of the car on the curved transport path are The inner deflection is free, and the radius of curvature of the curved transfer path can be reduced.
