Conventional technology: Conventionally, when confectionery and other foods are steamed, a steam oven is used to steam them. When steaming is done using a batch-type device, the room temperature rises in a short period of time, so naturally the surface temperature of the object to be treated also rises quickly, but it takes time for the core temperature of the object to reach the same state as the surface layer. It takes a relatively long time. On the other hand, when steaming using a continuous type device, it takes a long time for the room temperature to rise, so the surface temperature of the material to be treated gradually increases, and the temperature at the core is much different from the batch type steaming method. Instead, it will gradually increase. In addition, in the case of a continuous type device, the conveyor allows the objects to be processed to be steamed one by one during one pass through the device, which is efficient in processing a large amount of material. Because the entrance and exit of the chamber is open so as not to obstruct the movement of the steaming containers placed on the conveyor,
Steam flows to the outside from this opening, and the room temperature of the steam heating chamber, especially on the inlet side, does not rise, making temperature control difficult.

Therefore, in a continuous steamer, a means for preventing steam leakage is provided along the entrance and exit portion of the processed material by the conveyor. However, even with this leak prevention means, the opening cannot be closed, so steam inevitably leaks outside the machine, and as a result, the room temperature inside the chamber adjacent to the entrance and exit becomes lower than that of the chamber further back. cannot be avoided.

For this reason, when steaming products such as steamed sweets whose dough develops color when heated, such as "thin skin manjiyu", the temperature inside the steamer must be well controlled or the product will not be homogeneous. This is inconvenient, and the amount of steam consumed becomes excessive, impairing economic efficiency.

Purpose of the invention: The present invention solves these problems by dividing the steaming chamber in a continuous steamer into a preheating chamber and a steaming chamber on the side where the processed material is fed by a conveyor, and by providing air between the two. To provide a steamer which can maintain and control the temperature in a steaming chamber at a set value by making it flow.

Structure of the invention: In order to achieve this purpose, the invention comprises:
In this continuous steamer, the interior of the steaming chamber is divided into a number of sections in the longitudinal direction, with the outgoing part of the conveyor vertically transporting the chamber between the sections, and a steam blowing pipe is provided for each section below the section divided by the conveyor. The first section on the feed side of the steaming chamber for the material to be treated is separated to serve as a preheating chamber, and a heat-blocking air flow passage equipped with a mechanism for controlling the amount of air flowing in is provided between the preheating chamber and the steaming chamber, surrounding the entire width of the conveyor movement openings of both chambers.

In this way, the inlet of the material to be processed in the steaming chamber is connected to the preheating chamber via the air flow passage, and a kind of air curtain is formed by the air flowing through the air flow passage formed between the two chambers. By controlling the flow, the inside of the steaming chamber is not directly affected by outside air, and the room temperature can be kept constant. Therefore, the objects to be processed are placed on a conveyor and sent for steaming.
First, the product is preheated in the preheating chamber, and then steamed in the steaming chamber at the required temperature according to the purpose, so by heating the product, for example, "Usuki Manjiyu", the desired color can be developed. In the case of products that are finished by hand, the heating conditions up to the inside can be set in advance, which improves work efficiency and provides a uniform product.

Generally speaking, the air flow path has a structure in which air flows in from the bottom of the conveyor, a suction part is formed at the top from the conveyor passage line, and an exhaust duct is connected to this suction part, and the air is drawn in from the bottom. A method in which the inflow amount is adjusted by a damper and the flow is caused to flow naturally by suction through an exhaust duct helps to reduce the amount of steam leakage and to reduce equipment costs and operating costs. Of course, the exhaust duct may be connected to flow the air in the opposite direction. Alternatively, an air inlet is provided on one side and an exhaust port is provided on the other side of the conveyor, and a horizontal air flow path is formed by surrounding the openings of the steaming chamber and the preheating chamber, and the exhaust port is connected to the exhaust duct. A connected configuration is also possible.

Between the steaming chamber 2 and the preheating chamber 3, there is provided a chamber 11 which constitutes an air flow passage 10 so as to surround the entire circumference of the conveyor 4 running openings 2' and 3' in each chamber. be. This air circulation chamber 11 is formed of a metal plate in the shape of a box with a rectangular cross section in the vertical direction, and a slit of an appropriate width is provided at the lower part of the air circulation chamber 11 to serve as an air inlet 12.
A damper 13 is installed adjacent to the air inlet 12 or at an appropriate distance from the air inlet 12 to adjust the amount of air flowing in. Also, steam leakage prevention mechanisms 6, 6 of known construction are installed at the outlet 3' of the preheating chamber 3 and the inlet 2' of the steaming chamber 2, respectively, and are directly connected to the air circulation chamber 11. The upper part of the air circulation chamber 11 is constricted into a hood shape and an exhaust duct 14 is formed.
It is connected to the air vent and guided to the outdoors or other suitable location, and if possible, connected to the exhaust stack to encourage natural flow of air. Note that a drain is provided at a suitable location in the air circulation chamber 11 in the middle of the exhaust duct 14 as required.

With this configuration, when the container 8 containing the material to be processed, such as a steamer, is placed on the conveyor 4 and supplied, the material first enters the preheating chamber 2 and is preheated therein. In this chamber, the room temperature is maintained at approximately 80° C. by blowing out saturated steam from the steam blowing pipe 5, and the article is heated to approximately 50° C. while passing through this chamber. The preheated workpiece is then transferred to the steaming chamber 2 where it is heated to a set temperature (generally around 100°C).
While traveling through a room kept at a constant temperature, the fuel is steamed up and sent out of the aircraft.

The steamer is separated into a preheating chamber 3 and a steaming chamber 2, and has an air circulation chamber 11 interposed between both chambers 2 and 3.
By allowing an appropriate amount of air to flow inside the steaming chamber 2 and making it difficult for the inlet side of the steaming chamber 2 to be directly influenced by the outside, it is possible to accurately control the temperature inside the steaming chamber 2. By preheating the material to be processed in the preheating chamber, the material temperature can be slightly raised to improve steaming conditions. In the air circulation chamber 11, by adjusting the amount of flowing air by adjusting the damper 13, the differential pressure between the inlet of the steaming chamber 2 and the inside of the chamber 11 is reduced, thereby reducing leakage of steam. It can be useful for

In the above embodiment, the air flow path is configured so that the air flows from the bottom to the top.In addition, if a draft effect is obtained by the exhaust stack, the direction of the air flow will be directed toward the conveyor. It may also have a structure in which it flows downward from the top. Alternatively, a structure may be adopted in which air flows in a direction transverse to the conveyor. In these air flow systems, it goes without saying that a damper for adjusting the flow rate is provided on the air inlet side or in the middle, and a drain is provided in the middle of the exhaust side.

Effects of the invention: According to the invention, a preheating chamber is provided in front of the steaming chamber, an air flow passage is provided between the preheating chamber and the steaming chamber, and the flow of air flowing in the air flow passage is controlled. By doing so, the amount of steam leaking from the steaming chamber can be reduced, making it easier to control the temperature inside the steaming chamber. In addition, by providing a preheating chamber and preheating the processed material before feeding it into the steaming chamber, it is possible to prevent color development by heating. When steaming such items, uneven color development is eliminated and a uniform steaming effect is obtained. It also has the effect of reducing operating costs through effective steam consumption, making it practically useful.
